The Lone Ranger ( 2013 ) First Look :-
A total let down for J.Depp fans. Started off good but after a particular point . it was dragged off unwantedly. It had a chance to change into a revenge based movie but sure Director lost track of it and ended up in a funny way. Though J.Depp as Tonto satisfies with his stunning acting as a Native american tribe warrior , still things didn't mingle in proper proportion. Armie hammer as John reid was totally waste and except the last few min disgusting stunt , there was noting he did in the movie. Better than Armie hammer , his brother in this movie Dan reid ( James ) acted really well and his role in the movie was interesting and engaging.
Story was normal , nothing new related to Silver Ore , railway layouts on 1933 , White men stealing Ore and Red indians in that area fighting against them and Tonto as a member of red indians , John as a white men and a law person fill the remaining role. Robbery , Crime , Thriller , comedy this movie doesn't fit to one genre not because it was really that stunning but because it failed to prove any one. Especially last 30 min background score was horrible as hell like Disney s Tom and jerry score played on a serious climax scene , seriously sick. Theater was already half and even seen many walking out at intermission itself. If you are a serious J.Depp fan like me , you can stick to the seat with a iron heart , else sure you will run for cover. Director Gore Verbinski wasted a life chance not to properly use such a raw talent like J.Depp and i am sure he will be one crying in the bathtub by now. Except the Wildwest backdrop and people in those costumes , there is nothing much you can expect.
Overall : Lone ranger is a Lone Traveler on a sinking boat.At your own risk
