I am sure most know already that this movie is based on the true incidents from rise 'n' Fall of a Mumbai Dreaded gangster Manya Surve and his rivalry between D Brothers. Though this movie portrayed a gangster as a hero which shouldn't have happened , but still as a movie based on true events , it catches much attention to it. We will never know which character played what role until we read the true life story of Manya. From Varadarajan Mudhaliar to D Company everyone played a role in the movie and if to understand it more below link is posted to read it. To keep this aside as a movie , except at few places its not catchy as other gangster movies like D Company , Company etc and things start and end so quickly. John Abraham acted well but his muscles didnot help much in this movie and initial fight training scenes within jail is rather too exaggerated . And GOW face Manoj Bajpayee played as Zubair along with Sonu sood as Kaskar Brothers really played it well. Anil kapoor doesnt have much in the movie except comes in as a encounter specialist. Remember that this encounter was the first to ever happen in Mumbai which started a series of encounters with around 850 encounters in total within a span of 5 years. Movie is watchable if you know the true story before in hand and in-detail about the characters. Its a Average flick to those who like movies based on true incidents and gangsta flicks . For others , this is not worth a try. Ignore it.
