Bringing out the most cruel thing of our society to light about Honor killing was great yet the way the movie was made especially the screenplay was very engaging. Anushka Sharma performance was damn brilliant though brought a nostalgic feel of watching " I split on your grave " movie . Overall a very good thriller film in recent times. Worth watch

A perfect Supernatural Thriller which hardly went unnoticed or less spoken. Lead character done by Happy days fame Nikhil Siddharth while he neatly performed his role to perfection. Movie is about medical college student a thrill seeker who likes to break all myths to find a rational reason behind all superstitious beliefs whenever he is introduced to one. Same way he comes across a legend , a myth spoken about a Kartikeya Temple where people are feared to even talk about as anyone or everyone trying to talk about that are mysteriously killed by a revenge seeking snake. More to that at every Full moon a bright light emerge from that temple lighting entire village in that process. So the rest of the movie is how our protagonist Karthikeya try to find answers behind all these disbelief's unearthing more secrets then he could imagine and what is the reason behind those lighting n snake killing forms core plot of the story.

Movie is quite good especially the thrill factor was very well maintained throughout the film. Bringing a possible explanation for all such phenomenon using science makes it more of a thriller then a horror film. Along with Nikhil there are other lead casts like swati , Kishore who value added to the film. Though the later half of the film is somewhat guessable yet screenplay was well maintained till the end. Couple of Music tracks came out nice and cinematography can also be appreciated . Overall a worthy thriller definitely deserves a one time watch. Will sure be a different experience.

This film brings out one of finest performances from my favorite actor George Clooney. This movie been there in my watch list from many years , i do feel bad for keeping this waiting for long . GC is one of natural born talent who does any role at-ease , having said that my top picks will always be Michael Clayton followed by all others. This movie brings his stellar performance as this film is on a family subject with a coma ridden wife due to a boating accident along with two young kids. How he has to bring his family together during his wife last breathing days forms core plot of the film. The way he handles his young school going daughters or how he carries himself when dealing with property sale , reunion with his cousins or the anger n tears when he learns that his wife cheated on him yet managing his composure forgiving her for what she did were all beautifully portrayed. For sure this is one good family drama , a complete package of human emotions which allows us to travel along with them in Hawaiian paradise throughout the movie with some breathtaking visuals. A must watch for all film liker.

From the maker of Colors trilogy Krzysztof Kieslowski with his trademark shots written all over it. Dont get carried away by the name as its not a movie about any serial killer or any gore one but instead this movie talks more about the mind of a sick sadistic person and the brutal truth about capital punishment which is more sickening then the actual murders itself. Can one killing through death sentence will help to fix things concerning to other killing? this is exactly portrayed in this film. While this movie travels via three extreme subjects one being a taxi driver , another being a lost sick minded youngster and finally a legal practitioner in a law firm. How their life comes  together leaving a long lasting scar forms the core part of the story. Coming to the movie , its bit slow as it has to travel through the eyes of characters yet it could have been made a little better, though this movie succeeds in portraying what it tried to say. Ending was heart throbbing , highly impacting and thought provoking. Not the best movie as it might not appeal to many but yet its not a movie to be skipped too.

An excellent family drama exploring Mother n Daughter relationship beautifully with love affection 'n' emotions throughout the film. Movie is about Song Yoon who is a single mom and a wedding dress designer living last days of her life due to cancer. But its not the death which she is afraid off but rather the fear of leaving behind her young daughter So-Ra in this world even before she could care and share more of her love towards her. She resigns her job , starts spending her time with her family and her cute little daughter while realizing So-Ra behavior more every day. Though the entire family tries to hide the news about So-Ra sick mother but somehow Sora Gets to learn about it and how she starts to care her mom back in her last days fulling her last wishes becomes most beautiful but melancholic part of the story. Both the leads performed really well and even the family members care was wonderfully shown. Tears becomes more evident as movie progresses and heart becomes more heavy towards the end. Watching this movie will haunt you for days and stays in your heart forever an experience not to be missed. Be sure its a slow subject but worth visiting and a perfect dedication for Mothers day.. Enjoy watching.

One of my friend suggested this movie saying this a different subject unlike other horror movies which revolves around hospitals and paranormal activities. So i gave it a try and sure felt it very good rather a better one compared to other movies in same genre. This is about a Coma patient who has ability to move things around with mind and taking control of physical objects just by his psychopathic powers which also medically termed as Psychokinesis and Telekinesis. Using this ability patient named Patrick takes control of the hospital and also starts to torture a young nurse who recently joined there as a care taker. As his obsessiveness over the nurse increases day by day , he starts to hurt anyone who tries to get close to her. With no way to escape from that place with time running out , how she finds her way out forms rest of the story. Movie subject sound very common but the way this was presented was very good and screenplay lags nowhere keeping us at edge of seat till the end. This is more of a Sci-fi movie about paranormal activity and will be a different flavored one. Give it a try if this sounds to be your kind of movie.

This movie easily adds up to one of my best crime thriller movie collections and i am sure it will remain that way for long . Movie starts of slow giving a romance drama kind of feel but even before we could realize things start to rumble and takes a huge turn from there with cat n mouse game between police n the protagonist as he is been framed for his wife murder. The best part is the climax with so many twists everywhere making us keep guessing till the last minute and especially the suspense factor was well maintained till the end. Though recently many movies have come in same genre , considering the fact this got released during 2006 i am sure it was well made ahead of time. Father-Daughter & husband-Wife affection was wonderfully portrayed in this film which adds a another plus to it. This is far sure one of must watch movie for any thriller movie fans. Enjoy watching

Another best Danish History film from Mads Mikkelsen based on actual events. Thure ( Flame ) and Mads Mikkelsen ( Citron ) play role of assassins in the Danish resistance group who were eliminating Nazi's top people & Dane's Informers one after the other during Nazi Occupation. These Duo were considered deadly for their fearless attitude and at same time they both covered their back on all missions which was tasked to them. Their Patriotism to their country was exploited by few peoples for their own cause and how politics lead to their downfall forms remaining part of the film.

Being a film about real people this covered the facts as close as possible and flame as well as Citron action was too good in this movie. Though it was a period film yet it gave a gangster movie kind of experience while watching the way this resistance team operate and these two people body language did the rest. A calm young flame and a emotional yet aggressive Citron made a deadly combo in it except the sad ending which would be quiet melancholic. Post war and liberation , these two people were celebrated as Hero of Dane soil along with United States President Harry Truman posthumously awarding the Medal of Freedom and this movie was considered one of most expensive Danish films during 2008-2009. Movie is quite engaging and keeps the phase till the end with a wonderful screenplay. This is one of must watch historic movie not to be missed especially for people who are looking for movies during the period of Nazi's.

I never took this for a thriller film as i always thought it was some Court room or prison drama but i was totally wrong. This movie is way more then i thought with such a intense script & a very gripping story line about the life of Gale who fights against Capital punishment and how he sacrifices his entire life along with his team for the cause he believed in forms the core plot of the story. Movie starts of so good and runs slowly thinking it was a innocent man who been framed into murder followed by conviction but last 20 min with the twist in the tale would completely blow your mind giving you a jaw dropping experience. This by far means one of best movies from Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet equally rocked with a brilliant onscreen performance. A pure spellbinding crime thriller which you can completely enjoy with your popcorn and for sure not to be missed.

Finally had chance to watch this critically acclaimed movie which was nominated for best foreign language film this year. A perfect anthology with many short stories consolidated together to form one full length picture giving us surreal experience throughout the film. This is one hell of a ride a most terrifying experience which directly portrays extremes of human behavior and how one react when induced to some deranged circumstances leading to their behavior in a unpredictable way. This is far more violent and intense at all the six tales it presents to us making itself as one of best thriller movies seen in recent times. I couldn't stop comparing this movie watching experience to that of watching Black Mirror TV Series as both were simply the best in all aspects being unique in some way and  this definitely a must watch film for all movie freaks.

One of the best engaging war action movie depicting life of a legend who lived and served his country as a SEAL Sniper  invoking fear in hearts of his enemies and a savior angel for his men on ground . A well made biographical movie about a infamous Sniper Chris kyle and a close look on action in tours he made during his tenure as a SEAL. Movie was quite good be it the sniper shot portion but equally good on romance portion of it too with his wife which was beautifully captured in this film. Though it is not entirely a war drama like many other films because of which we cannot compare straight away with them but knowing this being a film about a real life hero and his heroic deeds would boost more interest in viewers. No wonder why it was nominated and received academy award under various categories especially Bradley cooper winning Best actor award with his stunning performance. Overall a entertaining movie to watch from a legendary filmmaker Clint Eastwood not to be missed.

I Origins (2014)


I Origins (2014) :-

I had no clue what this movie really about but i should say this was one of highly emotional deeply haunting and a feel good movie about human emotions and the way how life is more complicated beyond what science could ever prove or understand. Movie is about a molecular biologist who examines human eye and how it evolved over a period of time mapping to changes in human characteristics inturn disbanding Spiritual beliefs in such process but for his shocking it just happens the opposite as he comes across a girl with beautiful eyes creating a unbreakable bond at the very instant but with her death he starts to learn a lot which even science has no answers to it. There is also a part in this movie about the phenomenon about people who see random numbers like 11:11 everywhere at frequent intervals and how those are connected to some unexpected incidents of higher call has also been portrayed here which was good.

The romance portion of the duo was perfectly captured and the dialogues were very powerful throughout the movie. There are few breathtaking visuals here n there but more importantly screenplay was very good especially with such a slow moving script. Lift scene was so touching and the climax little girl scene was heart throbbing one. Overall this is one of a movie not to be missed and clearly a unique genre of its kind but sadly underrated and less spoken. Definitely worth watching once for every movie freak. Have fun watching .

A very good bond styled Spy Movie completely spoiled by a horrible ending. Movie was so good at first part where Colin Firth takes the screen presence with his outstanding performance with those smart next gen gadgets along with his perfect fit kingsman suit this movie was in all new level. The intensity of script was well maintained at-least for most part of the movie but never ever thought the ending would be worst that it would just jump itself from a serious thriller genre to a comedy one which i feel should have been avoided. Still this is definitely a worthy movie to watch one .
