The Descendants (2011)
This film brings out one of finest performances from my favorite actor George Clooney. This movie been there in my watch list from many years , i do feel bad for keeping this waiting for long . GC is one of natural born talent who does any role at-ease , having said that my top picks will always be Michael Clayton followed by all others. This movie brings his stellar performance as this film is on a family subject with a coma ridden wife due to a boating accident along with two young kids. How he has to bring his family together during his wife last breathing days forms core plot of the film. The way he handles his young school going daughters or how he carries himself when dealing with property sale , reunion with his cousins or the anger n tears when he learns that his wife cheated on him yet managing his composure forgiving her for what she did were all beautifully portrayed. For sure this is one good family drama , a complete package of human emotions which allows us to travel along with them in Hawaiian paradise throughout the movie with some breathtaking visuals. A must watch for all film liker.
