American History X s one of the powerful representaion of Violence,racial exposure and how life changes whn one enter Prison....Its a complete potray of Human Emotions and other side of Closed Violence in everybody....Edward Nortorn absolute good performancess..The scene where he kicks the guyz head..!! terrifying.. and the look post that when he stares at his brother..Powerful.!! .This movie s quite sensitive and that scene stilll makes vibrations while watching the way he Looks his Brother.... the moment u say American History X, everyone will remember the footpath scene ! That too the way in which he reacts with pride after doing that thing.... no match ! What a movie !
Plot : Derek Vineyard is paroled after serving 3 years in prison for killing two thugs who tried to break into/steal his truck. Through his brother, Danny Vineyard's narration, we learn that before going to prison, Derek was a skinhead and the leader of a violent white supremacist gang that committed acts of racial crime throughout L.A. and his actions greatly influenced Danny. Reformed and fresh out of prison, Derek severs contact with the gang and becomes determined to keep Danny from going down the same violent path as he did.
