Its the innocence that goes with it captures our attention and that nostalgic feel never stops throughout this film. Imagine if you are visiting those places were you played with your friends as kid and how refreshing would you feel if at all you had such a chance to go to those places which once meant whole world to you...this film exactly portrays one such experience of a guy who travels back home after a long break and as he gets closer n closer, memories of his childhood keeps flowing. Unlike other movies were they had to travel back n forth through the past and present, this film majorly concentrates more on childhood days alone which is a positive factor to it. Watching this movie is pure joy , i would strongly recommend all to try and to experience the beauty of it.A movie not to be missed.

In meantime Church from Rome decides to take advantage of this situation with news about kings death sends his army to find 'n' kill this innocent child to prevent him from continuing kings legacy and to take over norway. So what lies next is how two Birkebeinerne's risk their life to save his child and on how they brought him safely back to the place were he belongs against all odds. Though the fight scenes are not that well crafted yet this movie has its captivating moments and story is definitely engaging. Visuals are so appealing throughout this film supported by excellent BGM which adds more beauty to it. This film deserves a one time watch for sure especially for those who like movie in this genre. Dont miss it.

Overburdened with the work in office followed by his termination, unable to sustain the stress and depression a well Mannered employee Kim Byeong turns into a psychopathic killer murdering his entire family for no reason and it doesn't stop there. While the cops are out for hunt and investigation is still in progress, people who work in same office get brutally murdered one after the other. The only strange behavior detectives notice is with a intern who recently joined there as she was said to be close with the suspect Kim Byeong. As movie progress further, more darker secrets arise and with a mildly predictable twist towards the end..movie brings a shocking closure to this Slasher cum thriller film. Movie is gripping and also brings many facts on life of a normal office goer and the kind of stress they are induced to. It also politely highlights the importance of work life balance and how much that is necessary for a good healthy working environment. Not the best of its kind, but a movie worth watching once.

Their time in the woods , survival and mainly their freedom to live as per their will was perfectly portrayed in this film. This movie would easily bring nostalgic feel on your teenage days, those summer vacations or those times wandering into the woods with your friends trekking with no destination in mind. Though this film moves on to a serious note at later stage with breakup, betrayal & pain , still this film would easily connect with you making you relive your childhood dreams and a very satisfying one. Definitely a movie which deserves to be experienced without a miss.

But the making of this film is Sick, at times disgusting and completely bizzard which requires a different thought process to understand it or even more to enjoy it. This film would definitely not serve all but for only selective few and will easily be lost in time.

One of best Melodrama depicting Parents love and affection. Ah-reum a 17 year old kid suffering from Progeria , a rare disease seen one in million which makes one body age rapidly 10 times faster then a normal human being. By age 17 Ah-reum already looks like a 80 year old person while suffering from many other disease which usually noticed during old age. This movie shows the care & affection his parents have on him at same time portraying this kid thoughts the way he sees the world from his eyes. This film has many feel good part too but later on it would just melt your heart seeing the pain each character had to go through, yet its so lovely to watch this pure form of innocence love. There are so many scenes which would really leave tears in your eyes even without you realizing it. To mention few, Ah-reum father reunion after many years while getting to know about the large donation , another scene when Ah-reum parents breakdown with tears on hospital stairs after seeing their son health condition deteriorating or to mention that final new year scene stopping the car in middle of traffic struggling through a tragic situation while whole world celebrating, these are just few i would say out of many which will haunt you for sometime. I really enjoyed this movie which i feel in line of babam ve oglum or Like Father Like Son and again its not for someone with light heart. With a little bit of patience, one can really experience the beauty of it. Dont miss it.

This film is a collection of 34 short films, each 3 minutes in length, by 36 acclaimed directors. Representing five continents and 25 countries, the filmmakers were invited to express "their state of mind of the moment as inspired by the motion picture theater".

This movie allows a quick peek into the minds of some of great filmmakers this world has ever seen that too in just three minutes. Just with these three elements consisting of a theater , a screen and audience every film maker listed below tried to capture their view on different forms of cinema viewing experience, or how they see it in future or in the past they way movies are projected, how much they missed, how they might have felt about it at a point in time or its just artistic freedom to show their dream. Filled with nostalgia, these shorts provide us a varied & weird nonstop experience every single time. I felt at some point that its hard to decode their thoughts as to realize that only they knew what they were trying to portray in there or it could be just nothing which only they have answers for. Dont think you will get too involved or connected with any of these shorts completely because just like a Clapboard, you will be awaken every few minutes once and it would be a start all over again. It would be like a flash of memory which we just could feel for that minute but not live through it. Enjoy these films and experience the artwork of these great masters. A very good love story between a rich girl who also happen to be reserved type mourning for her brother's loss & a simple outgoing guy in same class falling for her beauty and for her weird nature while everyone else avoided her. When everything looked fine, disaster strikes in form of parents which is very unlikely in these movies and that her father doesn't approve of their love inturn starts to behave odd trying all possible ways to separate them. He thinks this guy is from a low life , feels he is not the right guy for his daughter & at same time thinks he can also prevent her from pursuing medical degree in a different state which is her fathers dream and their family pride who were medical practitioners for generations.

Did they get together at last against all odds and were they manage to convince her father makes rest of the story. The lead pair is not so apt for such a film and story is very cliche and a little stretched, but besides that still this can be watched for those well crafted romance portions and for the feel that it would create on us at some parts. I would still go with Nicholas sparks based films which is my all time favorite but yet this film is worth a try once.

Love Story between a Grieving husband & fire Fighter who lost his wife recently and about a beautiful young girl with a severe medical condition falling in love with the same widower. She gets her medical license temporarily suspected for providing improper treatment to a patient in critical condition while he also struggling with guilt totally dejected for not able to save his wife ,takes dangerous rescue operations during firefights or emergency situation without any care for his life. How their path cross each other and how they both get attracted falls rest part of story which was beautifully captured in this film. Part emotional and most romantic , this is definitely a feel good movie that can be enjoyed well. Happy endings are hard to come by in Korean flicks and this movie falls in that category, don't miss it.

Kabali ( 2016 ) - Well this is my detailed view and this is just my opinion only on how i felt while watching it and i do understand that these views may vary from person to person. So i am not here to change your opinion nor expect someone to tell me my opinion was wrong.

I too came from a generation when people were crazy about a man who revolutionized fan base entirely with one magic mantra called " Rajini" and there were days i skipped my school & college to get just one glimpse of our Superstar on first day of his movie release. Does this sound like a fan , well no....because i love many other actors too along with rajini though he always been one step higher then any. So obviously its very natural for any person to go to the show with lot of expectation and if someone says that i should have went in without any , it just cheating oneself and doesn't make any sense. Lets place genre of the movie aside for a while horror thriller comedy gangster whatever it be...the first thing that comes to our mind is Superstar and then follows the rest. Its reliving a nostalgic feeling of our school or college days and only few actors can deliver that. Agreed ? ( If not am sorry )

I tried my best to get FDFS for kabali but in vain still i was happy to watch night show on first day convincing myself on the loss of missing to be part of fdfs. I spent some thousands for just one show which i dont want to go in detail but yet end of day its all about watching this film that's all. Well i have done the same for all other star actors too so dont judge me again here just listening to all above. I love to experience these moments and thats one main reason i go extra mile to live through it. Well i have seen every interview of ranjith before kabali release and irrespective of trailer which created huge expectation on this film, i still know that this movie will have a different treatment from hands of a young director who created one of my all time favorite movie " Madras". Though i know its going to be a gangster flick yet i was sure that its not going to be like Baasha but rather a emotional and a slow paced gangster flick with a different touch to it. Why i say this is I hear few telling that the negative reviews is because audience are going in with great expectation after seeing the trailer and they couldnt accept a different kind of Rajini film. Well here i might accept partially but who am i to talk about all other audience except the fact that i know the kind of film i am going to watch even before i stepped into the theater , its Palazzo Chennai - just saying..because there might be few questioning me that i might have seen in a worst theater and that might have spoiled movie experience :p

Finally the much awaited movie started and yes as one would expect whistles and trumpets were blown.....Shouted till my throat went dry and that title card which says kabali..its like me traveling back in time watching Baasha FDFS ..a goosebumps moment for any film goer even before movie started. Movie opening was apt tailor made for a superstar which set the bar high.Superstar mannerism was top notch and his first encounter with his enemy on their own den was just out of the world experience which rarely very few films can deliver. Rajini style and body language was so perfect that it was the exact moment the director himself created huge hype in minds of the audience but definitely not the trailer alone. From there on , story moves as expected taking us through his past in bits and pieces until this free living foundation school came to picture. Agreed that this movie tries to convey a strong message but if that gets far stretched it results in creating a documentary feel to it. I am not sure if any would agree or not but Riythvika character or that tiger character was irritating to the core and at one point people in the theater started to shout every-time any one of these came on screen. It spoiled entire experience of people who just had a mind blowing first 15 minutes. Obviously flash back is something expected but i felt this to be a horrible flashback of all time. If you are forming a gang with tamil people then why exactly Tony lee was in picture at all. When i was just convincing myself that the movie will be back on track soon, then came that One to One interview with Kabali in same Free Living school creating uneasiness to already exhausted viewers.. Flashback was really not great for uprising of a gangster but with one convincing factor called Radhika Apte. Those short burts of scenes between Rajini and Radhiki was only soothing factor in this entire film and really loved the way it was presented instead of a fully blown flash back of their story alone. But apart from this First half at most was a complete torture i would say

Detailing of characters is very important for any film which helps audience to connect with it. But here unfortunately even when over acting Attakathi Dinesh gets killed it hardly creates any feelings and so goes John vijay & madras anbu too. There are many such characters who just vanished on movie run without creating any impact to the film or making us empathize with the character and were mostly underutilized . With introduction of Radhika and Dhansika, director seem to have stepped into a confusing state whether to gear up the story or to continue with emotional side of it. This created imbalance in flow of the movie affecting entire screenplay failing to justify either one. That family reunion scene was quiet good, very emotional and this was the only place were i felt any emotion at all in this entire film. I hardly remember any of such intense emotional scene when i stepped out of the theater post the show and thats makes me wonder if this movie can still be called a emotional roller coaster ride with just one remarkable scene in this entire movie. Even then just few minutes before this scene they make us take a ride to chennai then pondi were there was even a chance to travel to france, i felt half dozed already and even entire theater erupted at that moment. There are places were movie should have concentrated more and there were places were it should have been more crisp then dragging it unnecessarily. But i am sure if they traveled to france, then we might have even heard people calling this film a journey or travel movie , well thank god it didnt happen. Even movie finishing was not that good or convincing and it failed to create any impact to outcome of this film that too with a clue to possible sequel.. Really ? How come police decided to help kabali to get hold of others...was it part of edited scenes which gone missing or its again a expectation for audience to assume themselves every time when they presented loopholes or logic flaws to them. There are so many Why's then WoW's which shouldnt have been the case.

Making a gangster film is a art by itself and bringing a character to life is not that easy to make. But one thing to appreciate here is the director managed to extract performance from such a star perfectly and Superstar had made this more easy for him with his years of experience backing him up. Somehow Diretor Ranjith failed to recreate his magic which he did for his previous film and i feel this is one life time opportunity gone wrong. If we remove rajini factor from this movie , then the nutshell is just nothing.... but due to the star value this movie carries its very hard for anyone to see it separate. Only convincing factor in entire movie was seeing our super star in screen along with some good supporting role like Radhika Apte & few others but there is nothing more to take from it.Screenplay was a total let down and presentation was horrible..irrespective of fact its delivering some strong message. As long as story is gripping and screenplay is engaging..none would have had issues with it..doesn't really matter its a gangster flick or a romcom or a emotional ride so called...this movie failed to justify any one of it as if it was lost in translation. Well i must agree that the trailer did create a huge hype of being a pakka gangsta flick but end of day what really matters is the output irrespective of what genre it falls into and its ability to engage Audience till the end...Screenplay Execution, Presentation could have been much better which could have made this movie experience more entertaining. Its neither a rajini movie nor ranjith movie..a cocktail which totally gone wrong. Anyhow just for superstar alone i liked this film but o doubt if i can see it for second time. Definitely Maghizchi for watching thalaivar but can i say the same for movie? Well..........

Yet another complete action packed thriller from Tony Jaa which deals about Organ Trafficking. Tony jaa a tough Hong Kong police officer has a bitter side to his life were his only daughter is counting her last days due to leukemia. She needs bone marrow transplant immediately to survive but the recently identified donor from Thailand with similar rare blood type disappears suddenly. So when tony Jaa steps in to find the donor location to save her kid, he soon realizes that there are lot of people involved behind his disappearance. Then comes another parallel story where a rich business guy needs a immediate heart transplant from same rare blood type and hard measures he had to take in order to get his organ for his own survival. How all these characters are interlinked to each other and how they all had to fight for their survival towards the end follows the rest of the story.But the more shocking factor in the movie is seeing underground Organ trade operations and how poor innocent people life are compromised for such rich people with law in their hands. As one would except from a Tony Jaa movie, fights are brilliant and there are abundance of it. Enjoy the show.

A complete fun riot right from the start and a beautiful rom-com with mixed emotions. A ex-con who just released from prison gets himself appointed as a associate professor at a school inorder to find the stash of cash which was buried under school gymnasium from his previous robbery. To his surprise, his plans seems to be not that easy as expected as he had to justify his role disguising as a professor so no suspicion arises. Romantic subplot where he slowly gets attracted to a teacher is also wonderfully portrayed and its so fuzzy to watch as their love blossoms with every minute. The way he slowly takes control of the students with his own style by being a bad-ass teacher and how he manages to bring them to discipline is a treat to watch. What happens to his love and Cash forms rest of the plot.Its definitely a feel good fun filled movie not to be missed and a genuine entertainer worth watching

A simple movie portraying life of a middle class family run by beto whose survival completely depend on Smuggling small goods across border and selling them to local vendor. With such a hardship labor involving huge risk, the money they earn is not sufficient to run their family which leads them to think alternate ways of earning money. Beto plans to construct a public toilet near his house with his all available savings in a expectation to earn few penny's from people who visit Pope's meeting scheduled at his town. Did their plan succeed or did the pope's meet happened as planned rests the remaining part of the film. Movie is a slow runner but gives a realistic feel of middle class life and their struggle for survival. With a little patience, this film can be enjoyed.

Anklaget aka Accused , a danish family drama with a sensitive and complicated story which keeps us guessing till the end. A father gets accused of molesting his young daughter following which he gets arrested and sentenced in Jail. But further investigation reveals that the girl has a history of psychological issues and with benefit of doubt, he gets released as not guilty. But word spreads fast in town with people disassociating with him irrespective of his trail results and they start to mocking him as pedophile . Though his wife believes his innocence, yet Their entire family life gets shattered while their daughter still stays are protective shelter. Rest of movie is about how they live through these tough times and to know if the truth revealed itself at the end. The last few minutes conversation between father & daughter was shocking to the core making us feel stunned & shocked. Overall one slow moving drama which can shook you up towards the end. Dont miss it.

At first glance, i was shocked seeing this movie thinking its a complete story of my favorite comic Pied piper atleast at the start. But to my surprise it turned out to be one of best jaw dropping thriller cum revenge story with a deadly twist towards the end. Movie is so good that it keeps us engaged right from the start with its mesmerizing visuals supported by beautiful music especially when piper at play. Movie starts of at very good note making us feel like reading a comic book but doesn't stay that way for long .

Piper along with his young son finds shelter for a night stay in a isolated village where people are terrified and terrorized by deadly rodents. Piper agrees to solve their problem as a token for their love and hospitality & does it as promised. But in a misunderstanding and a foul game played by village chief, piper gets suspected to be a spy and gets punished brutally by the villagers. What follows is redemption for their mistakes and how piper teaches them a great lesson for their sins forms rest of the story.

Story might sound simple but the making with such a style stands out unique. A simple story with a beautiful narration getting twisted to be deadly thriller film is no easy task. Second half of the film might be a bit graphic in nature and might not appeal for all audience. But besides that, the maker still manages to empathize the pain of a dejected father whose heart gets filled with vengeance for people being dis-grateful to him . Overall this is definitely one of very good thriller film not be missed.

It means My Father's Glory, a very nice family drama about a boy who follows every step of his father, seeing him as his hero cherishing with much pride on whatever his father does. Movie is like a bedtime story, Story telling feels so calm and soothing making you travel with it all along. Movie might start a bit slow especially when bringing different characters to life but once they go on for a holiday retreat to a nearby isolated farmhouse , it marks the start of great adventure filled with fun and joy. He going with his dad and uncle on a hunting trips was beautifully told bringing life of 90's to us as if its is a dream which one deserves to live all over again. Dont expect more out of the ordinary as its a very normal drama but its the son & father relationship which elevates the experience from this film. Overall a worthy movie to watch. Have fun

Its Christopher Walken role as Gabriel makes all difference.People who love such genre might also like this film too.Give it a try..

A very much unexpected horror film from Hong Kong film circle which i noticed from a random pick.We would have seen so many horror flicks before were thrill factor mostly rely on story it conveys but here in this case its totally different. This movie entirely driven by its breathtaking visuals supported by haunting background score creating a perfect atmosphere well suited for a horror film. VFX in this film is damn good especially the ghost characters were brilliantly crafted to perfection. A well known actor moves to a old apartment just to commit suicide, from then on this movie covers all the paranormal happenings around him from the point he attempts suicide upto his last breath. Story is so twisted that it keeps us guessing till the end but the Gothic feel it creates is so haunting then the story itself. Every frame is well crafted right from the start with some jaw dropping slow motion sequence which will leave you stunned. Second part of it is graphic in nature at most, adding to it story might feel a little disconnected but towards the end with last five minutes of the film , it would finally allow you to reason yourself to apply some logic for whatever happened so far. If you want to enjoy a different kind of horror flick unlike other usual ones then it should be in definite watch list.

But a unexpected twist to the story shatters their peace completely which forces theeb on a survival mode when Riders of the desert try to attack them. Rest is about theeb survival and his journey back home which gives a total completion to such a wonderful movie. Its not always the sun that dominates dessert but there are so many beautiful hidden things which this movie helps to explore and its always a wonderful feel to understand life of people on other side of the world. This is one must watch film who love travel & adventure films and would definitely leave you with a unforgettable experience. Just dont miss it.

No Wonder it was well acclaimed internationally and had a positive reception all around. A simple Palestinian drama which deals with friendship, Love and betrayal. Story about three childhood friends who join together as a resistance group fighting against the Israel who took control over their place. Omar who is the lead character in this movie gets caught in a cross fire between his love and friendship, when Israeli soldiers arrest him and try to convince him to be a mole for their ground work. Irrespective of he being loyal, still he gets labelled as traitor by the people around him. Dejected by all what has happened to him, will he still be true to his friends or join hand with Israeli's bowing to their blackmails falls rest of the story.

Movie carries mixed feelings with many twists and turns throughout. A very neat drama will lot of surprising events and with some fine heart touching moments makes it a feel good movie too. Those love portions were beautifully framed and every emotions were blended perfectly in it. I initially thought it would be a slow moving drama but on a contrary it was a engaging one giving a pleasant movie watching experience.

Story is so horrific, intense and graphic in nature which handles a very complex script and a complicated topic on child abuse. Though at first, we will be left with thoughts lingering here & there trying to find answers but once we start to think that we have a clear picture, we would be still puzzled to understand if all the happenings are just imagination, psychological or Paranormal in nature. There are scenes which would easily send chills and shivers to the spine keeping thrill factor at peak.A worthy engaging thriller not to be missed.

Easily one of best road trip movie i have seen and would stay in my top favorite list for ever. A father and son decide to take a road trip to mecca from France which is about five thousand miles far ,a Journey that would embark a life changing events for them with new experiences every single day facing challenges at every turn. This journey brings them both together providing a opportunity to understand each other and also learning many lessons on their way keeping them forward against all odds. Relationship between father and son was beautifully portrayed in this movie and its so loving to see them keep traveling together irrespective of all indifference in their opinion on many things. Though the story ending leave us with a heavy heart yet this film creates so much wonderful feeling on us giving a nostalgic feel throughout. May be we all need such long journeys together which can bring people to a better understanding and also to gain many new experiences en-route. A masterpiece film which cannot be missed and a experience which cannot be ignored. Must watch.

Unique treatment to a war film like never seen with a poetic touch to it, a patriotic film depicting soldiers & generals who sacrificed life for their country during Battle between Americans and Imperial japan at IWO Jima island. Film gives a close encounter on dark side of war were behind all bullets & guns there are always men men with emotions, feelings n fear who pull the trigger. It would be a much easier battle for them om the field then their actual fight within them-self when they had to choose between their country and family, which only few men raise to the occasion willingly while others been forced to take it without any option. We could see both these kind of men in this film while justifying each ones decision for doing things what they had to do. Though Japan has lost the battle there, the undelivered letters they written to their family survives for a century when this island gets surveyed in a later time. Those letters, their confession and their sacrifice before their last breath makes core plot of this story. Have seen many war films but this definitely got a delicate touch to it especially with a magical bgm supporting it. This is a very lengthy movie but definitely allows us to travel with it. One of must watch films from Clint Eastwood not to be missed.

A simple heart touching family drama coming from Singapore film industry. Movie depicts the pure innocence love & bonding between a mischief kid and a Filipino caretaker who comes to work in Singapore leaving behind her own 12 month baby under the care of her sister. So she had to sustain and endure whatever it takes to keep her new job safe as she is very much dependent on it .Whatever that young kid does to bully her, she had to keep herself calm and situation under control so it doesn't escalate to that boys parent which could cost her job easily. What turned sour initially grows pleasant as story moves forward with their bonding growing strong everyday with that kid starting to like her and respect her for her love n care for him. Separation is all evident and to the end how hard it would be for a young heart to swallow it been beautifully portrayed in this film.

The best thing about this film is the way it travels with time making us connect with it all along till the end and allowing us to empathize on what every character played in this film makes it a best part of this movie. Hardly with four characters, they created a wonder out of it and i would say this should be a must watch film on every movie buff list. A one time journey that need to be experienced and felt.
