Proof (2005)
Story about a grieving daughter who goes crazy after death of his father a well known mathematician in his locality known for publishing many research and theories. It all goes mad when they happen to find a notebook of his father which believed to be a proof of something that was never done before from the times of Mathematics came into origin. But the problem with that is tha she doesn't know if the proof was written by her father or her as they kind of gone totally crazy and mentally disturbed. So entire film goes around that book but neither it talks about proof or the mathematics. Film could have been great if it rather concentrated on the actual subject that was placed then dealing with a mentally cracked down women and her life leaving the whole experience in a bizzard way. Felt the character similar to that of Carrie in Homeland series and for sure doesn't look good throughout. Not really interesting and film really has nothing to do with title.
