The Age of Shadows (2016) Korean
This film easily adds up to one of best Spy based films of Korean origin. Plot is about Korean resistance group fighting against Japanese government and how these Spies act together to bring down this government for achieving independent status forms core part of this movie. Plot is very simple but it excels in execution part keeping us engaged till last minute. Though this film run time is about 150 minutes we would never realize how soon time flies while watching it and thats the most positive factor to this film. The lead characters Byung-hun Lee , Yoo Gong and Kang-ho Song are well known actors and we can blindly trust their films for their movies always stay one step ahead then the previous ones. Movie ending was so good for such a plot and apart from being a intense spy drama it packs loads of emotional touch to it making us sympathize with the characters involved. Overall this is one of must watch film from Korean industry definitely not to be missed. Happy watching
