Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter (2014) Japanese
Story about a girl from tokyo who leads a deserted life without any friends more like a sociopath with no interest in Life nor her work life, happens to accidentally discover a VHS tape of Fargo documentary where story leads to a Iceland where stacks of money gets buried towards the end. Convinced that the money is still buried there, she takes up journey to Minnesota in search of this lost treasure. Rest of the plot is about her journey to that place and the event that follows while coming across many people convincing her that the story is fictional. Did she find the money, was she really out of her mind is all that the film ending has. Plot might sound interesting but screenplay would really kill us for sure. Its not slow but dead slow and u just not need patience but a coma patient patience to watch this film. Ending was a good one but outside that its sorrow and sadness written all over it and this is definitely not a movie for those who are with suicidal thoughts. Decide yourself and watch it. Be careful.
