Hannibal TV Series ( Season 01 ) :-

Finally completed season 01 Hannibal just for Lector , A good thriller series . Will ( Hugh Dancy ) has a special powers through which he can empathize with the Serial killers and once he steps in to a crime scene , he can recreate it and enact virtually how the murder took place. the catching point is..though he can see the way the murder happened , he cant see the killer but instead he can feel like the killer with a clue on how the killers mental condition was during the kill. Matrix star Laurence fishburne ( Jack ) comes in as Head of FBI . While Will helps is needed for FBI , it takes a toll on will mentally with many nightmares to follow. Thats how Hannibal lector comes in as a Unofficially appointed psychiatrist for Will by jack. So rest of season follows on how Hannibal lector manipulates the behavior of Will for his needs and to hide his dark secrets beneath it and how will starts to break down himself while he tried to save many lives and solves many serial murders during the process falls rest of story.

The only good thing on the entrie season is the stunning performance of Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lector. He just lives up to the name , be it when he fries the human liver with flava beans or when he dresses up the salad with human spleen and kidney. These scenes are awkwardly catchy and initially it kinds of irritates but later this gets normal as every episode starts showing his new menus with Human organs and how much he liked to cook using them and creating new recipes. Even till the last minute none able to find the actual master serial killer is Hannibal lector but when Will finds out that at last episode , he is already in jail as Hannibal perfectly execute the plan and uses Will for his needs. Hugh Dancy as Will did perform well atleast for the first 3 episodes , later on he catches up with the strange disease due to which he acts up as a drug addict till the end of season which is disgusting causing nausea after some point. To see it really , Wills power has nothing to do in solving the crimes , though they show as if he does something , but the fact remains is he does nothing but just see how murder is done without seeing the murderer face. I guess Dexter would find this in a much easier way with just Blood splatter analysis. I felt Dex is more good then this Hugh. Seeing how Hannibal uses Will , we can always feel that Will is a big time loser and he is no wonder boy anymore , a big time show stopper. Jack acting was good , running here and there with single barrel gun but not even a shot was fired. He should come out of the matrix feel and start to think this is hannibal. When everything is a big let down..the only perfect character lives up to it and makes us see through all episodes is none other then our Fav Hannibal Lector. Awesome and really wonderful performance. Natural acting. But fact i couldnt deny is that i had to place antony Hopkins in his place many times , just to feel the true Hannibal Lector performance. Damn if Antony Hopkins would have accepted to do this series...this would have been thunderous .

Chan-wook Park's Stoker :-

A Very good Mystery drama all the way. Be it captured in a wonderful Lush green stunning backgrounds or the thrilling background scores , this movie takes its values in every aspect. Story revolves around a rich girl ( India Stoker by Mia Wasikowska ) , his mom Evie ( Nicole Kidman ) who living in a lushly parse huge family estate and how their life turns up after India's father passes out in a tragic accident followed by sudden n surprise introduction of her uncle ( CHarlie by Mathew ) . India is a much reserved girl who doesn't accept changes much . below quote would say more about her

" My ears hear what others cannot hear; small faraway things people cannot normally see are visible to me. These senses are the fruits of a lifetime of longing, longing to be rescued, to be completed. Just as the skirt needs the wind to billow, I'm not formed by things that are of myself alone. I wear my father's belt tied around my mother's blouse, and shoes which are from my uncle. This is me. Just as a flower does not choose its color, we are not responsible for what we have come to be. Only once you realize this do you become free, and to become adult is to become free ~ India Stoker "

With this said , its about how India accepts her uncle into family whom she never ever saw before when her dad was alive , later she starts to find the motives behind her uncles presence and reacts to the situation and how she sorts out things falls rest of the story .

I am sure if this would have been the same if it wasnt Chan-wook Park. Story i wouldn't say its something out of the blue , a very normal family mystery but the way India stoker ( Mia ) performed brings more light to the movie . Without her there is no stroke in stoker. Awesome movie , the picturization depicting how india see things , hear sounds with her own thoughts was meticulously done. But it just doesn't end it, If there was no Uncle character there , this movie would have never got the spice in it. Mathew as Uncle Charlie with his cool looks and sneaky character fit to the role very perfectly. I would say its more of a musical drama then of a movie. Very melancholic at times , very touchy at most and very tempting at least. Its not about the story or the script . Its about the perfect screenplay and fit perfect cast in hands of master Chan-wook Park . But one must admit , patience is much needed to watch through it and enjoy the real beauty of this celluloid wonder. A Must watch for Mystery Drama watchers . DO not miss it.

Bullet to the Head ( 2013 )

Just watched Bullet to the Head...!! Worst Movie from my Fav Actor..Just felt like watching a regular Drama. Same Story of Professional Killing and Revengue..!! But this movie was way too boring and dragging...!!! Climax is just wasted for nothing with BigBoss Taken out by another Pro Killer .Except the Last Axe Fight..Nothing Much Interested me.. Seems this was a Bullet to the Heart with Upsetting SS Fans hugely..!!! Below Average . Watch at your Own risk of Spending 90+ Min for it.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation ....!!

Okay nice action film if you keep your logic finding brain aside. Good action by everyone and sad missing Channing Tatum at the start itself. Bruce wills has not much role to play though but when he shows up all the hidden weapons in his house Damn cool...!!!! And Dwayne Muscle man had not much chance to play with his muscle around in this movie as its only bullets which is singing all through....!!! My Fav star Byung-hun Lee ( Storm shadow ) Mr.Bittersweet life was there and his acting was cool along with snake eyes. Especially that Mountain escape sequence was brilliantly made . Same Nukes and Nukes story nothing new but just the action part which is cool . Overall a average flick worth watching once .

Beast of Southern Wild :-

A Very nice slow paced movie Deals with Life of two souls , a little girl Hushpuppy ( wallis ) and his dad Wink ( Dwight ) in Southern edge of the earth called Bathtub avoiding the busy city life and trying to live up with their community totally isolated from city by a river. People in Bathtub live a harmonic life with what they got until a storm hit their region where many had to flew from their own land to other places in search of shelter.But Hushpuppy's dad is so determinant and with lots of pride \dignity decides to stay back with few other people there.Following that , storm hits the place , ice caps melt , the land gets flooded , All usable water turns to salt water bc of flooding , Live stocks die bc of starvation and things totally starts to break down. Adding to that , wink catches up with some disease making Hushpuppy feel insecure that she cant left alone in the world anytime once his father dies. So the movie is all about how Wink prepares her daughter to face the things far ahead of her age and to be a man when circumstances calls far. Just the survival of the fittest.

Well this was a very good film with the narration of story done by the same kid , hats of to the brilliant acting by Wallias. She sure deserves a applause. Though this wasn't a masterpiece or a unique movie , it talks about the peoples determination , pride for their living and the strong love between a dad n daughter. But movie screenplay was bit odd felt like watching a documentary then of a movie and the sudden introduction of ice age creatures called Aurocks was unnecessary.Thing were going perfectly and it should have been left that way but yes its film and anything is acceptable. But yes sure it was a good movie , a nice adventure but imo i feel its been really over-hyped. Worth watch once and sure i wont be able to watch this movie again.

Still good one , but yaa Benh the director a short film maker did got his open windows to full length movies , no wonder why it felt like a documentry. Being it first timer..he really did it well . Nice movie .

For Chris Nolan and Dark Knight Fans\Freaks...This is just a new start for Superman. This is no continuation of its previous Superman Predecessors and this Movie is Just a New Beginning with Sequels to be expected soon.....!! Man of Steel is equivalent to Batman Begins and this is just a start, a Amazing beginning for Superman in a new form.

Krypton a Dying planet many light years from earth is in verge of self destruction due to lack of natural resources to run its course and is not able to withstand through its changes overtime. There is been no natural birth happened in Krypton for centuries and they are created by artificial means to generate their own species until when a New child ( Kal-El ) is born to Krypton's Chief scientist Jor-El ( Russel Crowe ) and Lara by means of natural birth. Things take a drastic turn when Commander'n'cheif of Kryptonion Army General Zod played by Michael Shannon Turns up against his own leaders for not protecting the planet thinking that they are not doing enough to help the planet from destruction. General Zod along with his army troop attack on his own people to take up the throne and in turn he reaches to Jor-El to get hold of Kryptonian codex , a power source for embryos creation without which there will be no birth of Kryptonion Species. But Before General Zod can reach Jor-El , he along with lara ensures safety of his son's life by sending him to a very distant planet Which is Earth. Before they do, jor-el embed the Codex into the cells of the Super Child making him very special and only source for the survival of Kryptonion Life Forms and its future. As Jor-El refuse to shake hand with his once good friend General zod, a clash happens between both which ends up Killing Jor-El but still General Zod was not able to prevent the Child from escaping from his planet.

This saga ends were General Zod and his Troop later Surrounded by the Kryptonion Army under higher command and arrested for this treason and for planning this coup against his own leaders. As a penalty for his crime and betrayal , General Zod along with few of his loyal soldiers are sent to Outer space in black hole away from krypton which would hold them in a infinite state of coma.Dust settles downs a bit and finally Krypton planet meets its end as like any dying star in outer space. Every race in the planet is been destroyed except the one and only child who is sent to earth for safe living. This destruction inturn released General Zod and his troop from their coma state making them also a few survivors of their planet. As General Zod knew that the Codex which is embedded in cells of kal-El is only source to bring back his planet to life, he starts his search for Kal-El on all galaxies and stars relentlessly

As we know the story of superman from here on , he reaches earth shattering the skies in night making a burning star entry to planet earth. He was later discovered by Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and his wife Martha (Diane Lane) and they start raising him as a adoptive child Named as Clark Kent ( Henry Cavill ) who inturn start to indentify his own powers day after day , year after year. Clark always knew he is a adopted child, but his quest to know his real parents and secrets behind the inhuman powers never stopped. Though his many failed attempts to mask his powers and cover-up his identify, people start to see him different while some see him as God send and others see him as ghost waking. Jonathan guides him through his life to cover-up his tracks and to maintain his true identify undercover until actually time really calls for to help save the humanity and planet earth.

While this is on, Carl finds a space ship buried inside Iceberg. He somehow able to gets access to it to only realize that the actual ship was from his birth planet Krypton. Through few checks on the Spaceship, he is able to bring back his own father recordings, a message which was left to Karl-El to decrypt his identify and to help him understand the reason for sending him to earth. Louis Lane ( Amy Adams ) who is a reporter at Daily planet was also in nearby area to write up a article on this unidentified object which is this space ship buried deep inside the Iced Waters . She somehow finds the way into the spaceship meets up with a unexpected encounter with Clark and she gets to know his true identify, so far one and only person who knew his secrets. But Clark requests her not to share this secret making her understand that his existence was rather for a bigger cause and that this identity had to be covered until the right time cloaks in . While this spaceship visit helped Karl (a) Clark understand his birth secret, the beacon in the spaceship sets-on which inturn alerts General Zod who is desperately searching Kal-el everywhere. This clue leads General Zod to earth and as soon as he gets into the earth’s atmosphere, he takes control of every satellite communication on earth sending message to every people on earth to handover Kal-EL to him so he would leave earth unharmed. Clark voluntarily steps forward to Army commander in earth informing his willingness to surrender.

Clark was handed over and is later taken to General Zod by his commanding soldiers where Clark discovers that the actual intention of General Zod is not to just capture Kal-El but he also wants to convert planet Earth to Krypton which will happen only by killing and destroying every living and non living forms in earth. Whether Kal-El would help his own Bloodline and commander Zod to achieve his dream or whether he would stand against him to save humanity is what makes rest of the story

Though this movies makes the first step to break the barrier for using the name Superman in title as Nolan did before for Dark knight rises , This new and Fresh Title " Man of Steel " sure brings in that Zing and excitement. Nolan and his co writers also broke few other taboos surrounding the Letter "S " which actually means "Hope" in krypton but not Superman. There is also many modifications to the story at many places like Clark Kent is no longer in disguise to his lover cum co-worker Louis Lane making us believe that this is not going to be just the Comic superman series but a birth of New Generation SuperHero.Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is Yet another Power-Packed SuperHero Entertainer. With Legends like Chris Nolan as Pillars in Production Unit, we can rest assure that we are in for a virtual treat. The best thing or the foremost important thing which worked out for Zack and his Unit is the mind blowing Background Score by Hans Zimmer followed by our Superman Henrry Cavill who really lived up to his role and took up this challenge bravely. The first scene where Henry is engulfed in fire while trying to save few people from a fire accident in mid sea gives Goosebumps , Jaw Dropping. CGI and SFX works were good and overall this Powerful combo of Nolan and Snyder did the trick.

This Movie is a fresh beginning of This new age Superman , Trying to tell a complete story from beginning is a time consuming tiring process and may be a reason why this movie run time is longer than 120 minutes. Though David S.Goyer did his best in screenplay to show as many aspects he can without breaking the flow of movie, still many fans would feel that the movie is kind of dragged to a extent. Louis Lane here has not much role to play or that said she is brought onscreen for nothing at many places. I guess this is the only movie where Superman is beaten up to hell than any other and it was not too goodin the end the destruction & damages done by Superman is more then the actual General Zod would have done :D  , 3D was not that amazing in it or may be needs to be watched in a IMAX Screen to experience the real 3D Effects. But on a normal 3D Screens this movie has nothing special to offer.

Verdict:

Though there was a Lagging on Screenplay ,still it stays under a acceptable limit as we may finally end up appreciating the work of Director and other casts including editing department, for its not easy to show the past & present both together while maintaining the actual storyline intact. So if you are looking out for a full fledged action movie, then you are about to get disappointed. This movie is not a best one, but sure a must watch one for its virtual treat and if you are a Superman Fan, then sure this would satisfy your taste buds and stays as a complete entertainer.Go in with not much expectation and come out fully satisfied. Sure its Sequel will be more stunning and keeps us waiting. Definitely a Kick Ass entertainer , Worth watching Once in Theater. Value For Money.

I must say its a mere sin not watching this movie until Now. A mind blowing Feel good movie which takes you out on its entire Run. Excellent Story and wow what a performance by the three and they really done their part so good. Enjoyed every minute of it. Be it the BGM or Be it the climax or their friendship, its just the goosebumps all over...!! This would Top my List of Best B.Wood Movies next too Tare Zameen Par , Chak le India and Rang De Basanthi. If you are also the one who still not yet seen this amazing Celluloid entertainer , please do it soon..... !!
