 After so many flops , expecting that Vikram would have def learnt a lesson from it i went to this movie after a great
deal irrespective of my health being a crap.
Naan modallaiye sudharichirakanum...seing Half empty theatre on first day. Why what happened is the question.....

 Most of the movies i hate taking their negative points during initial time of release the fact being that it might have
good pointers too on equal share ( ** Excluding Mr.Dr & TR movies )

 Let me start with Cons..

thaan..yedo love training institute pona madiri oru feeling. But atleast konjam fun'aa irundhudhu andha sila mani neram.

>> Yethana vesam chiyaan pottalum...avaru Kamal sir aga mudiyadhu.
>> Pradeep Rawat yenna oru villan character.gajinila kalaki iruparu..ana indha padathula comedy piece akithanga.
>> Not even one Fight sequence is watchable..worst..Chumma Body tight panna mattum poduma..koduma.
>> Oru action scene'la kudha seriousness yeah illa...yedho laurel and hardy comedy padam madiri thaan irundhudhu
>> "Akka" appadinu oru character,Wakk*** Mak*** Koduma...!!! Dhool Sowrnakka madiri try pannanga..ana paruppu vegala..
>> Janam theatre'la irundhadhu oda..popcorn cornerla irundhadhu thaan adigam..
>> Chinna pasanga ellam vilaiyadha arambichithanga theatrela as if in amusement park
>> Climax...well theriyala..vitta podumnu irundhudhu..
Pros

>> I went last..so i parked my bike last and was easy to remove out of cluster..i was the one rushed first out of
theatre..ticket vanga kuttam parthu irupinga..ana first time makkal.sandha pottu nerukadila veliya vara try pannadhu

 >> Lucky tasmac was open and was nearby..had a quick stop there to give immediate remedy to my headpain and then another stop at medical stop for a saridon

 Totally Why such a talented artist would choose a worst Script..Yennakku yennamo avarum Mr.Dr style thaan follow
panraro...avara madiriye appuram katchiya arambhichida vendiyadhu thaan......

   
Overall i would rate it as : 1 out of 5 ( That too for vikram and vikram only )

" KO " a "KO"mplete "kO"mmercial Entertainer......


WOW..I Must say it was indeed a real good Friday coz my hard earned money
didn't go for waste to a carpy movie..

 Well all know there had been no movies recently released which can be
talked twice... except Yudham sei..which Buzzed few ..but apart from it ,
i dont see any other shining stars in the sky. With ponnar sankar ,
Ilaignan , Kavalan , Nadunisai peigal ( whatever ) making our head go
bang!! i decided not to go to screening of any movie except Thala's.. i
know i know.he too didn't deliver..but still am a hardcore his fan..!!!!

 After ups and Downs...SMS and Singam Puli..we decided to watch " Ko " just
on the trust we had on Jeeva.. Though santanam was not part of this crew
which would have been definitely a tough decision for director KV.
Anand..but still Jeeva leaves a bit confidence on us with his recent
performances..

 "KO" Cast : Jeeva , Ajmal , Karthika , Piaa Bajpal .

Not sure what this name Suggest " Ko " leaves us puzzled , we entered into
a house full Box... never seen a housefull before for mini stars apart
 from regulars like Thala , Thalapathi , Captian , star..etc..

 Whistles rolling High , movie starts with a Bank Robbery...and there comes
our Hero Jeeva in action.what u expect a fight , captain  innings ( not
meant the other tollywood captain ) to save the bank...thats not what
gonna happen..a great stunt in bike , a chase of robbers not to save the
money...but to capture picture of these robbers... Yes u r right he is a
journalist Photographer in this movie.. With amazing stunt and making sur e
these pics reach the right person , his name and fame increases..

 Ajmal Comes as a Young youth who wants to change the world atleast TN with
his political stand..he votes in for election as a candidate with a bunch
of team ( his college mates ) in election..there comes election campaign
as a New Political Party " Siragu " also on other side with current CM ( Prakash Raj ) and
opposition ( Kota SrinivasRao )..

 With Jeeva in Journalism with Two carzy girls chasing him Piyaa ( article editor ) and
Karthika ( co editor ) movie goes calm , chill , fun on first half. Excellent Acting by
jeeva...he makes it so easy..his onscreen magic is amazing..!!! Piyaa with little bit
weight added around waist makes her presence in first half as
she is no more in second.. Karthika cool as silk not so sexy as sameera
reddy definitely a driving factor for this move..she does her role to thee
best .

 Music ..my wonder which part of brain did Harris got this
downloaded..Ennamo Yedo and Amili thumili is thee best..still i cant rate
these songs as they are so best suited and is a major hit even before the
movie released..Harris u done your part ..!!! So good..Picturization in
this movie and songs location , as well the BGM Score..wow excellent

 How Jeeva and this Press take brave steps to get the Truth to the
People..How young ajmal with his crew of friends makes his way to TN
Elections ..how opposition plan to downfall Ajmal ..and how jeeva with his
photography skills takes these politicians and in-turn helping ajmal in
elections makes a complete first half. Except the bomb blast plot at the
end of first half leaving most of Ajmals and Jeevas Crew a free ticket to
paradise..people came out and had their Popcorn time with a full smile.

 " Been a While i seen a smile in peoples face during Intermission. " this
left me a good sign and increasing my expectation meter too high.

 Ok With Much expectation..second half started..yaa as we expected , movie started same
way post bomb blast.. Then everything started with a Big Twist and Turn which none would have expected...

 First song as soon as second half started and a small 5 min flash back sequence could have been avoided ...but nevertheless that didn't make any effect effect on peoples interest

 Then rest of movie totally becomes a excellent political Thriller which we would have ever seen in recent movies released...nice show..how ajmal come to power with help of Jeeva and later the betrayel..naxals..CM...and pos effects of power..!!! there goes main part of movie..which i would leave it to you people to watch it in theater...

 But overall i must say..this is a wonderful movie to watch far..and if u really want to make your good Friday really good..go watch it..i bet it will not let you or your gal friend down

 Be it Thriller , action , songs , love , romance , story , picturization.. this movie did his best in all these parts and am sure S Kumar,Jayaraman gonna be a proud producer waking with their pockets full..

 With Ko songs a Recent Box Office Hit..This movie too gonna wash all records...Guyz..directors , producers , distributors if you are planning for your movie release this time..its gonna go for a ash from the flame..Watch out " Ko " is around........

 What else u r waiting for..more review.common.. my fingers are burning..thats all... go on ..book it and make ur day better..

 Ok..Though it was already few Weeks gone..i could still see some worth countable heads showup in theatre... ( This looks a good sign for the Producer. )

" What would a common man do , when he losses everything he loves and there is no mean for him to continue his life.. what could he decide.. Death is no mere dangr for this man anymore " - This is waht the movie is all about..

Why Watch
========
1) First half
2) Thrill factor kept at  high very nicely
3) Cheran in Different Looks..
4) Good message to the Public , potraiyed differently on common man issues.
5) Director makes us feel the pain what the characters are going through
6) No boring love scenes mainly No heroin
7) Nice suspence thriller after long time...Miskin made it good. Nice camera works at times...
8) Only one song in entire movie.

Why Not
=======
1) Director could not match to the phase of second half to that of first.
2) No glamours hereoin.
3) Waste yellow item songs as usual...anjathey repeatu.. Ameer and that Song was of no use there at end of second half
4) Worst fight sequence at first half..could have been much better.
5) Lots of confusion around the screenplay and lots of unwanted characters introduced at times.
6) Though good thriller note by Y.G Mahendran and his crew family..but could have been more realistic in approach
7) Police shown as dummy
8) Climax ( worst ) lots of bullets around and blind men walking. No use couldnt help much.
9) Though the message was neat and clear...voilence couldnt be a actual solution to any problem. Director could have crafted it here..but missed..

Movie talks on " Peep Shows" still an hidden word in our dictionary...But this is a rising danger in our surrounding...

Worth'aa illaiyaa??

Yes it is watchable once for  a different try in recent movies. i would say 2/5 for this movie.

Good Movie after long time..Must watch!!



Kavalan :-

 Beleive it or not..!!! First time ever in Thalapathi movie..there is no introduction song in first 30 min... :-) yaa..yaaa...true... nice naa... siddique finally caught the magic.

 Raj kiran not much to do apart from a showcase trailer who doesnt like betrayel only during intro..after that he is nothing different then a ticket collector..

 Roja as raj kirans wife..nothing much role to play and we wonder what she tries to do shouting at vijay each time..

 Vadivelu....semma mokka..not sure from where he comes...how he merges with the movie...and what is he trying to do throughout apart from using same dialogues " potti pochey.. " " avaru confuse agitharu " repeated ones... vadivelu was not able to add up much to this movie..

 Vidyasagar... Worst music ever made in thalapathi movie... Except that pattamboochi..i loved it.nice song ..pleasent to the ears.apart from it ..all are just another bordem factors.. really waste..this time music let down and that too for the first time i guess as in all vijay movie minimum three songs would go for a hit..!!!

 Asin...Pisin...aluvachi...she is aluvachi for 90% of the movie...looks peepa..no more that gajini asin..but coming to acting she done her part really well...she along with thalapathi was only the life of this complete movie..

 Ok Finally coming to thalapathi and movie...

 Thalapathi couldnt do his magic in his dance..step up is Bull***** ...sada sada waste ones not that much what we expected from thalapathi..so music , dance , comedy all let down in this movie....
But But But keeping critics aside and the mokka first half of the movie where he comes in with isukool uniform , boking , mokka fights... man..after a long time i watched a very good movie from vijay..yes..yes u heared me right..

 I guess he is back to his old school ...and this time the repeated magic in thulladha manamum thullum , kadalukku mariyadhi has done the trick..this is No Commercial masala Flick...it is purely family entertainer..and saying that..vijay has done his part beautifully..i liked second part most..yaa..i know there are more logics missed..but who cares i dont see any movies recently 100% perfect..in that case..this movie will def do wonders for thalapathi.. Climax i feel there is a touch of Bollywoods Kuch Kuch Hota hai Movie...but ok.!!!

 True enough.but unfortunately this movie didnot release in all theatres which is a sad part..he missed this chance...
Second half is so good..dont mind script too much as it might be fully confusing as u can hear lot of cell rings throughtout the movie ...but those unnecessary puch dialogues in sura..mokka acting in vettaikaran is not repeated here...

 Though Being a deep thala ajith fan, i say this movie is definitly a screener watch atleast once... it takes 2.5/5 .

Verdict : Vijays mantra worked!!!! Must watch........
