Notebook , a Sensational Romantic Drama made based on the Novel of same Name by the great Writer Nicholas Sparks known for his excellence in Romantic and powerful Heart Touching  Scripts. This Movie is no less good then his previous works . This Movie starts with a Old man Duke ( James Garner ) narrating a story from some diary to a Old Women ( Gena Rowlands ) in a hospital who is suffering from Dementia a condition noticed by Loss of brain functions like thinking , sense , memory . The Story Duke reads to old women, takes us back to 1940's Sea-brook Island Carolina narrating a beautiful love story between a Poor Local Young Chap Noah ( Ryan Gosling ) with a beautiful young girl Allie ( Racheal McAdams ) who is born with silver spoon raised on a wealthy family. Allie comes to this beautiful greenish land from city with her family for a summer vacation . There she comes across Noah on a local village carnival and straightway Noah get attracted towards Allie on his first meet and asks her for a date in a extraordinary way on a giant roller coaster wheel. Noah does many things which she starts admiring him and finally Noah wins and they are in love alas. Things go on as normal as any other love story until when Allie parents gets to know about their relation but they don't accept as Noah is a poor local country boy which they feel will not be suitable for their rich family. Though Allie Confronts her parents , Noah & Allie breakup because of some simple argument which later her parents take it as a advantage ends their summer camp , vacates the island. Though Allie tries to reach Noah before leaving the village she couldn't see him as he is left to nearby village for some work and they get separated without any lost words. Noah is broken on his return when he found that the huge house she was in for summer camp is vacant and she left him without any message. Days pass and Noah writes letters to Allie for 365 days for every single day of the year but unfortunately the letters did not get delivered as Allie's mother receives all those letters and she hides them all from the eyes of Allie.

Days Pass and a year is gone , where Noah lost his hope that she would return any one of his letters and moves on. He sends a farewell letter on 365 day which also did not reach Allie. At same time , Allie completes her nursing course in city comes across a Young handsome soldier "Lon" and falls in love with him. Things happen and she is engaged to Lon. Noah joins military during a immediate army enrollment .   After few years of service in military Noah returns back to his town and with his little savings and selling his dads house , he buys the 200 year old building where he met Allie. The Building is totally a mess and Noah decides to restore it to the same old look thinking that it can bring Allie back to him . Everything goes smooth until one day when Noah travels to nearby city for the building construction approval meets Allie on a restaurant  kissing Lon. Seeing this recent affair , Noah is shattered , broken and his life went total upside down in a single moment. As per Allie , she thought Noah never tried to reach her thinking he moved on with his life , so she too didn't hesitate a single moment and fell in love with Lon. Lon is also soldier but has a wealthy background which helped Allie Parents to approve their relationship and their engagement. Everything was normal until once day when Allie finds Noah pic with the old building on a local news paper ad. She was surprised but did want to make one final visit to the village to meet Noah. She did reach the village and seeing the beautiful building reminds her of those precious days when she was young and all her memories about first crush engulfs her. Noah is shocked to she her finally and his heart beats fast. She stays there for dinner and they talk , share a lot. Allie also comes to know about the letters he wrote for Allie every single day for 365 days and she just breaks in tears to find the love he had on her. They make love that night irrespective of the fact that she is engaged. Will she be with her first love Noah or would she betray Lon ..!! Its a battle of hearts and she is shattered , confused to choose what she exactly wants. Will she Leave Noah for Lon or does she have strength to explain Lon  to get her first love is the rest part of the story. At the end we just come to know that the Old man is none other then Noah n duke was his alias name and he is actually reading his own story to the old women who is infact Allie from a notebook written by her , She lost all her memory due to Dementia and she doesn't recognize herself or Noah now. At The front page of the notebook she clearly leaves a note to Noah to make sure he reads the entire story to her if at all she forgets her memory and so he does. She did get her memory back for few min at the end of the story and it doesn't stay long for more then a minute where she falls back to the same old condition. Noah once again heart broken due to Allie condition, Feeling helpless has a heart attack and he is admitted to same hospital with Allie who is also in a critical condition . Noah meets Allie in the hospital in a non visiting hours escaping the eyes of hospital staff. He finds out that Allie had regained her memory and He promises Allie that no matter what , even if she loses her complete memory  he will never leave her alone and they both hug each other and sleep in the same bed. Next day morning , Nurse finds the two old beautiful lovely couple passed away with still their hands held together as if showing the audience that Noah making sure he will never let her go no matter what and follow her wherever she goes. Movie ends here with a beautiful note and the Last page of the Notebook is definitely filled with lot of tears.



Director Nick was really wonderful in capturing hearts of audience by bringing this Book version to big screen in a wonderful way. The Dialogues at many places are heart wrenching and would melt you at some scenes. Ryan Gosling was perfect tailor fit for the role and he did very well to the Noah character along with the young gorgeous beautiful women Allie done my Rachel. Am sure many book readers would have gone mad and happy seeing their two fav characters coming alive . Cinematography was top notch and beautifully shot like Rain scene , The building in the garden were just beautiful . The way he proposes her on the giant wheel , Road Signal light scene , Clip when her mom returns all 365 letters to Allie , Lon explaining three choices to Allie when he comes to know about Noah , The Boat & rain scene and the climax scene  in hospital are so mesmerizing ,  which for sure will remain in your mind and haunt you for ever.  That's a masterclass work from Nick and sure he did a splendid job giving life to this wonderful Novel. Its a pure brilliance and wonderful watching it every minute.

FAM Punch Line : A Top Notch Film with Perfect Blending of Love and Emotion into one single beautiful movie giving the audience the extreme pleasure while watching throughout its run-time. Nicholas Sparks works can never disappoint the audience and sure will be a virtual treat for the novel readers . viewers liking this kind of Romantic Genre Movies. This will be one of Must watch romantic Movie of all time and sure will give you a unique experience watching it.. Don't Miss it . Its just another Nicholas Sparks wonder , a smooth southern romance movie finds its way straight into your heart. Its definite worth a try ,have Fun watching. FAM Certified.

The Vow is based on true incident  happened to Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who wrote a book about their marriage, also known as The Vow. This movie revolves around two important characters, husband Leo (Channing Tatum) and his wife Paige Collins (Rachel McAdams) . The Movie kick-starts with a tragedy , a car accident  while returning from a theater where these two cute couple get admitted to a hospital. Leo owns a Music studio and Paige is a Art student in nearby college . Post accident , Leo is recovered in couple of days but Paige sustained head injury and she is been kept in a induced coma in-order to prevent severe pain during healing process . Though leo is broken to see his wife in this state watches her day and night for her recovery. Finally after so many days she is back normal but with a shocking news that she lost all her memory and she no more remembers leo or her marriage with Him. Leo is shattered to know this but accepts his fate. Before the accident , she was happily married with leo , she has left her house , her parents moved  to city to live with leo and to continue her art class where in her father wanted her to study law. Leo was a very caring husband and they both shared a very good chemistry each other. Now that this accident caused a severe memory loss and that she doesn't remember anything with Leo , her parents come by to take her back home. For now Leo is just a stranger for her and in this awkward situation he begs to his own wife to give him a chance to prove and to live with him in a attempt to understand their relationship and to try gain memory.

Finally Paige moves in with Leo to his apartment but now they no more feel as husband and wife but as some stranger and Leo is totally heart broken but still determined to win her back and to make her understand his love 'n'  life they lived together. Paige tries to get along with her life by seeing her marriage video , pictures but still nothing helps her to gain the lost memory . As per her , last what she could remember is a life with her parents and her engagement with Jeremy. Leo tried different ways but everything in vain and he is just broken but cannot let her go. In meantime Paige is back with her life consisting of her parents and she least bothered about leo , same time she also falls for Jeremy because as per her last memory she is engaged to him , but in actual she broke that engagement then came to city lived a life there and married leo, but unfortunate she don't remember that but tries to find or make a reason why she left Jeremy. Sad leo just cant see his wife falling for Jeremy because of her lost memory and he desperately tries all the methods he could to get her back in his life. At some point he asks his own wife for a date to make her love him all over again , because he lost his belief that she will ever regain her memory. Same-time her parents want leo to leave her so she can lead a new life which initially he refuses later he signs up the divorce paper for only reason to see her happy and that she cant live with him like that . Paige also seems his struggle to get her back but she couldn't love the same way she did before the accident and she feels helpless and at one point she says to Leo that she cannot see him hurt trying & leo walks away saying " How do you look at the woman you love, and tell yourself that its time to walk away?  " . Will he win her back in his life , Will she accept leo over Jeremy , will they marry again will be the remaining part of it........!!!

Michael Sucsy has chosen a perfect story to bring it to a big screen and sure he brought it in a perfect style convincing the actual couples from which the story is inspired from . The full show is of Channing Tatum ( Leo ) with his awesome performance and seamless acting. He just brings the emotions beautifully out making the audience melt away. Its amazing how Leo and Paige share their life and its beautiful to see the chemistry between them . You will feel touched by the struggle and try what leo does and the pain what he goes through. Its a pure joy watching this film and it goes on like a breeze , hats off to the screenplay by Abby Kohn. No wonder why this is 6th highest grossing romantic film of all time. Its a beautiful movie with so many emotions , feelings and sure it would touch your heart deep . Its all in all Leo the savior of the movie and i am sure none could have justified this role apart from Tatum with his cool looks , causal effortless acting , simple but powerful expression. The scene post signing divorce paper where he cries playing a guitar and telling to his friend Lily that Paige is not loving him anymore with tears all over his eyes would just squeeze your heart. There are so many scenes which would blow your mind haunt you for long time , but i feel  its better to experience it with the virtual then reading it in my words. Am sure watching this movie would be one hell of a unique experience which none would want to miss.

FAM Punch Line : If you haven't watched this movie before and that you are a fan of romantic movies like Nicolas sparks then this is it , would be a highly recommended movie for you. Don't miss it . Its a pure Joy watching it and a perfect entertainer. Just enjoy watching and feel it along. Love and Love Only.

FAM Movie Review : Vishwaroopam ( 2013 ) Tamil

Vishwaroopam , one of biggest controversial movie of recent times handcrafted from a legend actor and a film maker. Amidst these recent situation and crisis this movie had to go through for releasing in its home ground , it finally came out with a big bang flying colors and to say for sure this was one of Humungous opening ever happened for any film be it here or overseas. No wonder why it had highest trending in twitter and shares\likes in Facebook , it is just all over the internet for it didn't needed any additional advertisement or publicity. Sure makes Kamal a happy producer

Movie is just normal as we seen in so many other flicks where Kamal ( vishu ) is a Undercover Spy agent. He is currently in US disguised as a Katak Dancer married to Nirupama ( Pooja Kumar ) who holds a doctorate in Radioactive oncology. Kamal used to teach dance to many young girls where Ashimita ( Andrea ) also one of his student. Pooja is not much interested in married life because of his odd behavior and body language as being a dancer. So she appoints a Detective to follow Kamal to find some fault so she can apply for divorce with that proof and to continue her PHD Later followed by marrying her boss in the same company she works for. But things take a turn when the detective happens to find that Vishu(kamal) is not a hindu but a Muslim when he goes to a local mosque to perform his prayers. While on pursue , detective gets caught in hands of terrorist group and in doubt he gets killed by that gang in a misunderstanding that the detective is actually following their activities. On Further search on his dead body they get visiting card of Mrs.Vishu Pooja Kumar and they kidnap her too along with kamal. Here starts the actual one..

The Acting of the great legend kamal was mind blowing and how he acts so innocent on the following scenes with the kidnappers is just awesome. And how he transforms himself as a undercover spy agent when Rahul Bose ( Omar ) who is the leader of that terrorist gang identify him as a agent is damn awesome. The fight sequence was brilliantly shot and just a virtual treat to watch. Addition to it is the BGM and Song " Yaar endru therigindradha , ivan thee yena purigindradha " will sure give goosebumps to any type of audience watching including his wife in the movie Dr.Nurupama. He finally manages to escape from the cluthes of the terrorist group making his wife stunned with his new roopam which is so why the movie named Vishwaroopam. She also gets to know that he is not just working alone and that her uncle Shekar Kapur , Andrea also part of the team . A specific dialogue when Rahul bose seeing the dead bodies of his group in a pool of blood killed by kamal , says to his leutinent " What else you can expect as he is trained trained by Al Quieda " will give you that much needed Kick for kamal fans keeping their toes high for lot of surprises to come.

Later part takes us through the flashback on how kamal gets into the terrorist group and how he rise to a high position , power as a jihadi and becomes a trusted , loyal member to Omar. Whats is is actual mission and how he saves newyork from a biggest nuclear attack forms the rest of the movie which i guess will not be a fun to reveal it here and should be experienced only in theaters.

What to Look for :
Stunning camera work , especially scenes in Afghan which was meticulously shot and the bunkers which are used as hideouts for terrorists was beautifully shown with some wide angle shots at times. Screenplay was just awesome with fiery first half and bit detailed second half may make you feel slow but rather its not. BGM is a heart of any movie and this movie somehow happen to grab the right kind of BGM it needed and it was perfectly blending to the movie pure class. While watching the movie , you may tend to raise many questions on how , why or what , but for it you may have to wait till the bloopers is shown and dont miss it as it can help you to address few or most of your questions . What-else you can expect from Ulaganayagan Kamal for his performance was top notch right from the start being a katak dancer to transformation as a undercover agent is just stunning.Not to miss mention about Rahul bose as Omar for he justified his role performing his task crystal clear with a job well done giving a pure joy to audience. Life in Afghan on a desert sand was beautifully shown to viewers and though this movie is about anti-terrorism still kamal tried to show their pain on their day to day life shows how human he is and a down to earth person he can be . For sure he didn't hurt any sentiments of any religion rather he portrayed himself as a Muslim , a hero and a tough undercover agent fighting for his country & to save many innocent life's from hands of terrorists and i guess every Muslim brothers should be feeling proud watching this movie. Its not Easily to bring a Hollywood feel , its quality on a Indian movie but he has succeeded in doing it brilliantly as every fan of kamal know that he is not afraid to try anything new to bring the Indian movies to a international stage. This is no less a Hollywood movie and am sure as a generic audience you will enjoy it for sure.

Whats a down factor :
Bit Draggy second half. Some graphics didnot work well like Kamal while training in jihadi camp climbing ropes , jumping walls but its clear evident its done by a dupe which could have been worked out a little better. Some unanswered qustions making audience to wait till bloopers or for next Sequal Vishwaroopam 2 is quite disappointing. Some dramatic sequences in climax and microwave scene was bit unconvincing still goes well with movies though. Climax was finished in a simple way with just disarming a nuclear weapon but as a fan we all might have expected some heroic stunt from kamal or some scenes which could have delivered that complete satisfaction of watching a movie. Though it leads to next sequel climax could have been made bit dashing with packing a punch delivering goosebumps but for sure was missing. The Fun of watching a spy agent in action was not actually there or less and for sure its a minus factor for the movie. Yes every movie has its negative factor , but in this masterpiece it is very very ignorable proportion or rather fans or viewers wont worry much about the above said points as we all go for movie just for entertainment and if it is..then Vishwaroopam has delivered it very well and it is a 100% pure entertainer. Down factor is not a impacting factor at all.

Overall : Be it you are surrounded by many thoughts due to recent controversy or be it you are a fan of kamal sir or of any actor this movie should stay in your must watch list. For the risk he has taken to present this movie to audience in such a quality and craftsmanship , it should be recognized and it will happen only if you appreciate his work watching in theaters. Dont miss this movie and just enjoy the show. Go in with no expectations and come-out fully satisfied. Keep your critic shoes out before stepping in and sure you will enjoy every moment of it. Am sure kamal as a producer would be happy on how its running across the theaters in globe and especially in TN his home playground , sure he is going to hit a double century here.

FAM Punch Line : A Unique Indian Hollywood movie , one should never dare miss it watching in theaters preferably in Aura3D .

Cinematography – Rajiv Menon – He is a massive plus for this film.lovely cinematography especially at songs and climax fight scene ..!!

Music - composed by A. R. Rahman already some songs are superb hit and they didn’t disappoint us in visual too .The background score is ok in some scenes but overall it was not a complete ARR Fare and might be a slight let down for ARR Fans

Story :-

Being a New Film , i will just give you all a slight overview on it with a little insights.The story revolves around two main characters , none other than ARJUN and ARVIND SWAMY, Goutham the hero did his part well as a beginner, Thulasi character is a cute & childish girl but good at romance in songs :P Then ponvannan did a gud supporting play.

The film is about a christian community fishermen area along the seashore side of south Tamilnadu(thuthukudi) . Kind of Negative Role by ARJUN and Godfather ARVIND SAMY as protagonist. its about how the hero gautham karthick struggling to choose between the two phases of life good and the bad and how he get tangled himself in love with thulasi , whether his love life helped him realize to take a right decision is what takes us to the end of the film ..!

Pros : Arvind samy superb comeback , mind-blowing performance , each & every scene , the dialog delivery is woww just cool , calm but powerful ..!!! Arjun as we all know the action king played -ve role gives 100% justice to his character. He perfectly filled his part and played it to perfection.Gautham and thulasi - good for the beginners lets see them what they do in the future films but not as good for considering a mani sir film ..Amazing locations and picturization was top notch showing us the scenic beauty of ceylon with complete blue waters in mid of sea and shore makes us feel chill n mesmerized. Climax fight was superb between arjun , arvind , gautham in mid of sea on a boat superb CG work too ..!!

Cons : Lack of story and editing is worse in many places definitely not what you expect from a mani sir's product. At some point you will be shocked to realize whether its really directed by the great legend Mani Rathnam. We can see his struggle to get back to his form and this is shocking for a Mani sir fan like me. Ravanan Bad luck and bad form continues.

FAM Punch Line : Kadal ,Starts with a bang but doesn’t settle quickly resting in dust at the end. Mani sir fails in his storytelling, Characters are not that much convincing or to say better not properly used, a confused climax for sure will leave you blind difficult to take it or understand it. FAM Movie Review : Killing Them Softly (2012)

Simple Story -> Local Club house card game  -> Robbery -> 2 Guys and one master mind -> Money lost and economy collapse -> Clubhouse Hire a Professional contract killer Brad Pitt ( as Jackie )  ->  Brad Pitt Killing them One by One.

Simple as that..but was dragged for nothing...Very boring and it has nothing in it...!! No Goosebumps nothing..only feeling sleepy all the way. .James Gandolfini  ( as Mickey  ) comes in as a another Hitman assisting brad Pitt but was not scripted properly with  unusual dialogues , unnecessary scenes , useless discussions and talking making the movie drag more. Ray Liotta ( as Markie Trattman  ) comes in as a manager for the club house and we might expect a huge action from him but he just goes for nothing . Problem is there is no proper villan in this movie , unfortunately the negative role Brad pitt has to play the role of protagonist and its was showed like that.  Very normal story but with a powerful cast. If the screenplay and editing had done their job this movie could have been more entertaining. BGM is worst and Brad pitt intro was nothing. Its a Total let off for Brad Pitt fans and for sure was not used properly in this movie . Most of times felt like a documentary film. Worst overall . Not Worth it.

FAM Movie review : Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu ( 2013 ) Telugu

Expected so much with this Powerful combo with a mass Director Puri Jagannadh & Telugu Powerstar Pawan Kalyan , But was a total let down.

Pros :-

>> First couple of fight sequence
>> Pawan Kalyan’s sheer force and powerful on-screen presence

Cons :

After all he is back with a bang , the great Mr.Olympia. Yes , he is Old , lost his muscle and yes he is no more fast but still he has his style and wow it was just fun watching this big guy Arnold Schwarzenegger ( as Ray Owens ) on the screen . As a Sheriff of a less populated Town and once a aggressive officer but now a calm peace loving guy arnold comes in as a very normal silent guy . But fate brings him in path of a most notorious kingpin escape convict , a death row inmate who is on run from FBI and that he happen to cross Ray's town inorder to escape to mexico . The problem is none able to stop Eduardo Noriega ( as Gabriel Cortez ) from escaping , he choose to drive off road on his specially designed car crossing 200kmph and with his counterparts who is helping him by clearing out any obstacle enroute even if necessary to kill anyone who is blocking his path. So with no help from FBI or Swat team and with very little time Ray has to stop gabriel from escaping to mexico , its just how he manages to stop gabriel with his little police force joined by Mike , Sam . sarah and lewis and how he makes his Last Stand to retrict the convit from escaping is all the story is about. Especially when arnold says , i wont let this guy go through my town without a fight will give you the goosebumps you need.

It was just awesome to see Arnold back again with the Big guns and on the wheels chasing down the convict .Luis Guzman as Mike was just fun watching him , he keeps us entertaining with his own style and you will not stop laughing every-time you see him on the screen. The Escape Convict Gabriel and his friend Peter Stormare ( Burrell ) were just excellent and add up beautifully to the movie. Screenplay was awesome and no where you would feel the slowness in the movie and camerawork was wonderful too with those car chase and escape scene was beautifully made , especially when gabriel take on the Swat team vehicle was damn good. The Last fight of Arnold with Gabriel on a bridge was superb and cant expect a perfect finish to such a wonderful movie and his dialogue at the end " My Honesty is not for sale " its jut wooooow . Sure Ji-yong Kim deserves a applause of making a very good Action packed entertainer and sure he has given his best

Lawless (2012) is a Kick-ass Film based on a true story, adapted from Matthew Bondurant’s historical novel The Wettest County in the World , A Perfect Western Style Typical Brotherhood Gangster based movie with many scenes giving Goosebumps throughout..!! Tom Hardy Performance as Forrest Bondurant was just mind blowing and the way he takes him through the movie as a serious out-looker with a tough side..wow . Just as amazing and just what anyone would like to watch in this type of a movie. There is no dragging and lack of phase. The Screenplay Just movies on . Along with it the other two brothers Shia as Jack Bondurants and Jason Clarke as Howard Bondurant were just perfectly added to the power quotient of the movie. And not forget to mention the other important character in the movie by Guy Pearce as Special Agent Charlie Rakes . Without a perfect villan , no movie is 100% complete and this is were Guy pearce fills the gap. Awesome acting by him and he takes his lead against the tough brothers in his own way. For sure he did his part perfectly well.

A simple story made in a very flamboyant way . Such a nice script making it a very beautifully made feel good movie. Talks about to Life of two well known Restaurant chef on how their path cross when they had to work together in a same kitchen in a restaurant . What starts as envy'n'pride slowly develops into a long lasting relationship between them and how that love blossoms 'n' matures itself was wonderfully captured in the movie. A worth watching movie for any Romance genre movie likers. Have fun watching.

Except one are two good songs..its total letdown by Him.
** When Actor vijay says he is from DIA ( Defense intelligence agency ) we might excepted more out of it to continue that phase through but things run from agency work to a personal agenda.

A Walk to remember , is a beautiful romantic Melodrama with Just Love on it in every frame shown. The decision to watch this movie was late or way to late and definitely feel bad for missing such a genuine class movie these many days.This is about a Love Story  in High school which revolves around two main characters Landon and Jamie. Landon is a energetic guy and very popular in school and Jamie is a normal girl who doesn't talk much , cute but a reserved character. She lives in her own world , doesn't mingle with all and she participates in after school community which helps the needy .Landon is a problematic rude boy in his school and he gets into many troubles for misbehaving. Realizing his trouble making character , school principal takes mandatory decision to send Landon to attend after school community services  and also to participate in Inter school Drama Play . As Landon has no other option , he unwillingly attends the sessions where he comes across Jamie and he never bother to care her initially as she is ignored by everyone in School for her different character . Though Jamie tries to talk to him , Landon doesn't seem to care much and avoids her so much that Jamie distance herself from him. Everything goes fine while he starts attending the community service everyday and he was selected to play the lead role inthe Drama Play with Jamie as his Partner. Landon being popular in school wanted by many girls has a egoistic character in him and thus stopping him to realize the actual love around. Its the day of play and all parents are gathered to witness it .The play  was felt so realistic and the scene was like Jamie singing a song to show her love to Landon and at end of the song , the scene is to kiss her and he does.. Till the time he was a guy who not bothered about her , felt something strange on him with the first kiss and he felt it too real and had his butterflies flying in his heart.

From that time , he has fallen for her and feels her as the destiny . Though she is reserved and different  , he tries her and gets close to her by understanding her more. Which started with a simple kiss is now became more than a life for him and he realizes that she is the one sent to him from heaven. She also falls for him and they both mutually start to love each other so much until one fine day  when she breaks a news something too big for Landon to take and that is She is a Leukemia patient 'n' counting her final days. This shatters Landon totally and he breaks completely with tears rolling in his eyes .Sure this scene would get audience a huge impact and would make you feel along with Landon and Jamie.

So what happens to Jamie , will she be recovered and will Landon will have her for life time is what covers the rest of story. The Story might look so common but the performance of both Landon and Jamie was stunning . Director Adam Shankman has definitely used every bit of his talent to make every scene so lively and a genuine attempt. The chemistry they both share was simply mesmerizing and Sure Jamie is such a adorable character that anyone would never want to miss. Its the Script , the dialogues of the movie takes you out with heart touching ones every few minutes. We could bet there could not be a person who can watch this movie without tears flowing out and a feeling of great satisfaction at end of the movie with just pure feeling of love..Hats off to Karen Janszen for pulling out such a beautiful script and Cinematographer Julio Macat for getting us a picture perfect movie.

Same time the other cast performance cannot be missed to watch like Reverend Sullivan jamie father and Landon Father acting was simply awesome. The scene where Landon hugs his father and cries out when he comes to know that his father helped financially to admit Jamie in a private hospital was wonderful and too touching. Sure that scene makes your heart heavy and so watch for it. Will there be any romantic movie which could reach hearts of millions without a proper OST or BGM , Yes Mervyn Warren was marvelous with his work and makes you melt with movie along. Overall this is one hell of a wonder any Movie lovers would be eager to watch  and your eyes will give you the result of the movie when you complete watching it.

Hotel Rwanda by Terry George is based on true historic events which speaks about one of worst genocide occurred in Country of Rwanda during 90's and how a simple man Paul Rusesabagina with a act of courage , determination and great risk he took to save thousands of innocent life's from the massacre . Paul Rusesabagina( Don Cheadle ) is a gentle polite and a caring house manager in a Four star Hotel Mille Collines in Rwanda . Its a place inhabited by Two race groups Hutus and tutsis who hate one another so badly due to their racial discrimination and disputes over Power. Paul is survived by his wife Tatiana (Sophie Okonedo) and children, hel is a hutu by birth but his wife belong to Tutsi race .Though the tensions were high in the region , normal life of people along with Pauls life was moving smoothly without any rough patches until one fine day where news hits the region that the Rwanda President who used to support the rebellious Hutu was bombed with the plane he was traveling provoking war between Hutu Militia and Tutsi . Hutu militia radio propaganda blasts out messages of hate toward the Tutsis, which served a catalyst to this genocide.

The conditions in Rwanda changed so drastically that the people were slaughtered everywhere Just with their differences in identity resulting day to day life a living hell on earth with no guarantee for their survival. Its Hutus are on majority and Tutsis are on their run for Life. Paul being a Hutu is on a safer ground for Hutu Militia is targeting only Tutsi people and killing them mercilessly.Paul realizes the situation that his wife and children could be in danger decides to move to his hotel along with few of his tutsi neighbors who took shelter in Pauls house for safety. Mille Collines being a four star hotel occupied mostly by foreign nationals was given a UN Security patrol round the clock to safeguard them. Boss of this Hotel decides to leave the country temporary for the mounting pressure in the region and hands over complete responsibility to Paul for managing the hotel .Paul brought all the refugees to the hotel and gave them the much needed shelter while UN Troops protecting the gates of the hotel. He also paid the bribe to one of Hutu militia official when he discovers that Paul is helping the Tutsi. Things take a turn when UN calls back his force along with evacuating only the foreign national living there leaving the others orphaned.

The one last hope for the refugees also diminished with no help outside arrived. More and More people young n old start coming to the hotel to take shelter and Paul invites them all whole heartedly even though the hotel doesn't have much room to accommodate all .The day arrives when UN Start their evacuation plan ,that feels so bad to see when the white people leave the hotel with act of selfishness leaving the other struggle there who has every reason to live in this earth just like any other. Their Hope , trust all vanished and its now only Paul whom they can trust. Its is also sad to see the reluctance of western world to help the people in this situation and No care attitude of the outside world which resulted in a million deaths in a span of three months. UN Reporter who stays at the hotel shoots the horrific incidents slaughtering of Tutisi people by Hutu .When paul gets to know about it informs reporter that the video might help getting outside intervention when telecast-ed , the reply from the reporter was " "If people see this footage, they'll say, 'Oh my God, that's horrible,' and then go on eating their dinners." which was touching , questioning our inner soul leaving us ashamed for being silent to the situation which demands people attention.With most of damage done resulting in half of Rwanda population dead , UN Force return Rwanda to help with pressure form various embassy around the world. Paul also manages to get hold of top official in Hutu Militia for help with evacuation plan from the killing zone. The rest of the movie is about how Paul manage to save life's of many by working with the UN Officials n Hutu militia person and shows how far he goes to protect these so many innocent life's from the hands of Blood thirsty rebels.

Terry George manages to convey this historic events with perfection, one of worst genocide world had ever seen. The toughest is to make biographical move and Terry George perfectly crafted this movie while he also managed to avoid all the bloody graphic contents of the massacre carefully. It doesn't create much impact on the movie though he delivered the message brilliantly which he intended to..This movie provokes lots of questions within us , asking every soul living on earth to realize how shameful we were to turn our back when people were longing for help with the one last bit of hope in their eye's . But saying that , this movie is definitely a honor and tribute to the one brave hero who stepped in when everyone stepped out. No wonder why the title quote of the movie says " When whole world closed its eye , Paul opened his harm to help the needy " . Its these situation which brings the real Hero Out. its a act of humanity , selflessness which doesn't come much easily without courage.FAM Salutes the real Hero Paul Rusesabagina and Mourns for many Lives lost on this genocide . Don Cheadle has lived to the character , did a splendid job with his onscreen performance. Don did work with th real Paul Rusesabagina to understand his life better and the importance of the events which definitely could have helped him greatly. The scene when he shivers after seeing thousands of dead bodies near the river all over the road was touching , disturbing , a tear dropping one.

FAM Punch Line : Biographical movies are always had to be watched to better understand the world we are living in. This movie will touch you by heart , disturb you so much that it will take some time to digest it. Departures by Yojiro Takita is one of finest musical drama ever made and will remain as a unique masterpiece in Japanese Film Archives. No wonder why it won so many awards including academy award for best Foreign language film on 81st Oscar ( 2009 ) . Movie plot focus on three main characters Daigo Kobayashi (Masahiro Motoki), a cellist in Tokyo , his wife Mika (Ryoko Hirosue) and his new boss new boss Sasaki (Tsutomu Yamazaki). Daigo is a middle class man who works full-time playing cello in a orchestra and his wife Mika who also works part-time to help Daigo financially. Everything goes well until one day when his Orchestra is disbanded leaving him Jobless. . He also admits to his well understanding supportive wife that he has struck up in debt to purchase his new cello and that losing his job has a toll on him to payback the debt. With no other option left, he sells the instrument to settle up things and they decide to move back to his hometown near Yamagata to live in a house which was left behind by his recently deceased mother..The house which they are going to live was used as a coffee bar run by his dad who abandoned her mother when Daigo was just six years old. This had a very deep impact on daigo leaving a scar in his heart with much hatred towards his dad.

Finally they movie into the house were daigo grew up during his childhood days. Daigo's past memories haunts him for every breath he spends in this old house. Things seems to settle and Mika seem to adapt well with the new environment with Daigo forced to look out for a job in this town to run their day to day life. Daigo while going through daily newspaper , reads a Job offer news wanting a Assistant of Departures ,along with a note that the job doesn't require any educational qualification or previous experience to apply. Daigo thinking it as a mail or Courier services job which goes well with a name Departures takes interest on this position and travels to meet up the employer Sasaki (Tsutomu Yamazaki). His first meet with sasaki gets interesting when daigo gets to know that the paper ad infact was a mistake and that the job was actually for a assistant to Sasaki for working as a encoffiner who performs encoffinment a ceremony that prepares the deceased for a peaceful departure from this world with a curious combination of funeral rites and embalming procedures on the freshly deceased which involves bathing the body , grooming the corpse by performing makeup , dress them up with new ones, to prepare them to look like living so the deceased family can have a one last glimpse of the person in a way they want to see them before buried or burned. The procedure involves much patience , gesture , precise technique and more importantly should empathize with the deceased family by giving the much needed respect to the corpse though not alive and they are actually employed by Undertaker in local town .Sasaki as soon as their first meet with no questions to ask immediately appoints him as his assistant with a huge salary offer along with paying a token advance even without checking much details about him . Though Daigo has no interest to take up this job which no other person would ever take nor he his mentally prepared to work as a encoffiner decides to take it up initially because of his financial instability and immediate need of job to keep Mika Happy. He hides to mika about his nature of job convincing her that he is working in a marketing firm.Daigo starts to play the cello again, the one he had left in the house as a child making the audience travel through the music to their childhood memories.

He starts to work with Sasaki at various scenes for performing last funeral rites . Daigo who is currently a encoffiner in training slowly learns the art from his master 'n' boss Sasaki takes up the calls single handed as days progress. Things go well until the day when his wife discovers about his job as a encoffiner requests daigo to stop continuing his current job thinking it could affect their pride and family name. Daijo now in a helpless position where he has taken up the job whole heartedly as a carrier for he feels it not just a service performed to deceased person but more of a spiritual journey it embarks and he feels connected to the deceased helping their family express their grief. This changed his perception on how he looked at this job initially. So he refuses the request from mika , leaving her no option to depart to her mother's hometown. Many days pass by , many emotional scenes daigo come across through his journey as a encoffinner while attending various funerals making it a part of his life. In a fine winter day , he finds his wife returned back to live with him , but still with a same condition to stop working as a encoffiner. While they are in midst of discussion , he gets a call to prepare the body of Yamashita's mother, who ran a local bath house. She is well known to daigo from childhood and he personally deals with grief mourning for his loss while performing the service to her in-front of her family members and mika . This event changes Mika once for all and starts to respect her husband job. While things settle down for daigo , mika receives a telegram reporting about diago's father death in a nearby town. First diago hesitate to visit him for the hatred he had on him , later convinced by his wife and coworker he travels to visit his father for performing final rights. That's when he comes to know that his father was living single through his life time after the separation and that he was still carrying the memories of his family till his last breath. Touched by the love his father had and realizing his great loss, performs his father funeral service himself personally with tears in his eyes all over leaving us heavy hearted.

Yojiro Takita brilliance is seen allover the film especially choosing a script which is very hard to make , difficult to present in a way its intended to. But Yjiro definitely sculpted it out beautifully with a astonishing screenplay. A Great applause for the performance of Masahiro Motoki who had delivered his acting to perfection scene by scene. More than the movie its the music which will make your heart melt through , Simply amazing and Mesmerizing .There are few scenes where the music would speak up rather then the dialogues from the cast especially the Track in below Link is mind blowing and for sure a melody to hear. Am sure the movie wouldn't have been in a place where its now without the perfect blending of right music in .

The last 10 minutes of the movie , especially when Daigo discovers a gravel stone held tightly by his dad during funeral service is one hell of a touching scene were you couldn't help yourself crying it out. Its guaranteed that it will bring tears on any kind of person watching it. Overall the movie covers the great things about a life and death , the Japanese tradition followed during funeral services and the life of a encoffiner with the great respect , pride involved on their job even though they are dealing with dead corpse. Director definitely sends out a strong message that there is no job called a bad job for every service they provide will be much needed by all now or later...Respect and to treat everyone equally.

FAM Movie Review : The Hunger Games (2012)

The Hunger games Directed by Gary Ross is a engaging Sci-Fi Action Thriller based on Suzanne Collins's popular series of American novels called young adults Plot revolves around Katniss Everdeen ( Jennifer Lawrence ) a young girl in 20's who is chosen for 74th annual Hunger games league which is a survival of fittest reality game show where only one Contender emerges alive as a winner . Set forth in the near future , Its about the citizens of Panem's 12 suffering districts where two individual from both sex in every district between 16-24 age are chosen by a lot system and sent to Capital State where the president would host a game titled Hunger Games every year. There are total of 24 people male 'n' female individuals who are sent to a killing zone and are made to fight each other till death .The Games are a punishment invented by the Capitol of Panem for the 12 districts whose rebels fought against Capitol rule which was crushed more than 74 years ago .So to aviod war , prevail peace these games are hosted every year by the President -Capital of Panem , which is more or less a indirect mode of punishing the people from the districts for their uprising.

Katniss is from District 12 , she volunteers to the game when her young sister was selected from the lot to participate in 74th annual hunger games. Katniss is good with using bow 'n' arrow , lives in a village where people are deprived , poor whose main source of food is hunting. She along with her male counterpart Peeta Mellark ( Josh Hutcherson ) travel to the capital to face the much stronger representatives from other districts. All the members are greeted well with a VIP Treatment and they are trained there with survival skills for a span of four days before they are taken to the actual fighting zone which is a dense forest completely monitored and everything inside the forest controlled by a control room under the supervision of Seneca ( Wes Bentley ) . What happens during the training days , Will they survive the game , Love blossoms between Peeta and Katniss but only one can come out alive , who will sacrifice for their love , How well Kaitniss use her archery skill to come across the strong odds will be the finishing part of the movie.

Though The hunger games doesn't create a huge attention in Box office , its definitely a very good entertaining movie from start to end. Gary Ross definitely did the best bringing out a movie with hardly no or few logic errors and the CG Works definitely deserves a applause. Screenplay was so good that you will be surprised to note that you are almost at end of the movie , Runs in a gradual phase and never felt dragged. Though it involves Gladiatorial fights and killing , it doesn't create a sense of uneasiness in watching it and care was taken to avoid most of graphic contents which can impact the viewers and making it viewable to audience of any age. Thus said it did not effect the movie in anyway. It was Kaitniss allover and she takes the movie on her shoulder totally. Definitely awesome performance by Jennifer and as well all the crew who worked in this movie.

FAM Punch Line : Its not too best in its genre , but that said its not underrated too. This movie is definitely watchable and for sure would satisfy audience who like sci-fi action flicks. The important thing is that the movie will not drag itself through its long run leaving the audience with a pleasant experience worth spend of their valuable time. Try it and have fun. Angel Heart directed by Alan Parker is one of Best Mystery Thriller among other movies in same genre. Plot of this movie revolves around two Main characters Harry Angel ( Mickey Rourke ) and Louis Cyphere ( Robert De Niro ). Film Sets back in 1950's , were Harry Angel who is a Private detective been hired by an wealthy individual Louis Cyphere to find a Missing Person who was also a band singer named Johnny Favorite, for Louis has some unfinished business which he wants to close it off with Johnny Favorite. Rourke takes up the job , starts to investigate about this missing person from every records available , soon finds himself in a deep trouble as he starts to unearth many details about Johnny Favorite. Started as a normal investigation , gradually develops into a strange missing person case with lots of hidden mysterious and dark past.

Angel starts to realizes that this is not just a missing person case , but something very strange masked behind it. He soon finds himself stuck into a trail of dead leads where he himself becomes a primary suspect of every murder which he did not commit. Thinking something fishy , he refuses to continue the job where Robert de niro immediately raises his fee to 5K Dollars which is a huge sum on 50's . As any other person would do and that not to miss a chance , angel decide to continue the case for being the huge fees put upon him by the client . Though its a tough path he travels while he investigates about J.F , he happen to find Johnny Fav gal friend , daughter , Band member Friend who are also linked with a World of Black Magic , Wodoo and performing strange rituals. No sooner they are interviewed by Angel , they are been Murdered by someone , mostly by a person who is following him for a while. Puzzled with the happenings around him , it becomes more personal now to find whats going on and why he is been marked as a victim for a case which he is leading. What would he do to get out of this situation , why are people been killed around him , Who is Louis Cyphere , why exactly he is behind Johnny F ,and where actually is Johnny Favorite will be a thrilling finish of the movie with a very much unexpected twist at the End.

Alan Parker has directed one of a best Supernatural \ Paranormal investigation Thriller Movie of all time. The film is adapted from the novel Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg and alan did complete justice to Williams writing giving him much needed attention to detail by bringing the characters live in big screen. Screen play was awesome and BGM at few scenes were mind blowing sending chills to the spine. Robert De Niro Performance is unquestionable for he is a master of art. In this Movie especially with a strange black Suit along with a Deep Strong Tone perfectly fits the character he played. I guess this is sure one of his unique performance in a different Role. Robert De Niro, Charlotte , Lisa Bonet and all the cast were excellent and did their best to perfection. Alan Parker work is much appreciated for blending a superb Horror movie which started as a normal thriller genre. Especially the twist at the end will definitely make it one of a best Mind bending Movie. Watch out for Stunning acting by Rob De Niro and a astonishing onscreen performance by Rourke.

FAM Punch Line : This movie will be a definite treat to watch especially for those who like Fight Club , Ninth gate ,Seven , Devils advocate Movies. A very good investigation thriller which can easily take its place at your favorite DVD Collection. Its a kind of horror movie but don't expect ghosts to walk out in park and a thriller movie which delivers the thrill more than what you expected. Overall a different movie in its genre to watch out far.
