Mob City ( 2013 ) TV Series :-

First'n' Second episode just started was aired on Dec4th..So first thing first..its not late to start this series...!!!



There were no days i wished to see God father \ Good fellas , untouchables kind of movies or TV Series...but seems my wish had been granted in a bigger way in form of a Stylish TV Series..!! A Perfect Neo-noir of time. This story takes us back and toggles between 1922-1947 were gangster ruled the land and Mob cops handled them below ground. This is just the story from one of those days when ganglords Bugsy Siegel , Ace Cooper , sid rothman and Mickey cohen lived.  Lets quickly see some of the characters here..


Bugsy Siegel ( Edward Burns) - A Stylish gangster , a perfect role and a perfect characterization to him .I liked his style and when he says he doesnt need favor for him and he gives favors to others. wow..awesome !! He is serious into his buisness....!!

Joe Teague ( Jon Bernthal ) well known as  Shane Walsh  on Walking Dead TV Series and he plays a important part in the series , A Good cop and a bad cop. When does a good cop become a bad cop. What pushes him to be the other.What it takes to kill a man... Is that for money or love? Thats what this is about. He has a past , he has a hidden mystery , its there in the negative he knows its  going to harm her love and how far its gonna take to protect his love. He steps up and throws himself in other side of the law. As he says His hands might be dirty but he would get a good night sleep.

Jasmine Fontaine ( Alexa Davalos ) - A lovely young girl adding colors to this entire episode She is the core to all this and she is the twist to this story and she hides something which other episodes unreveal.

Mickey Cohen ( Jeremy Luke ) - As we know his character from Recent Lawless movie , he was looked kind of funnier and short but still dont take him lightly. He is one dreaded gangster during those days...!!!

Sid Rothman ( Robert Knepper ) - As we all known him as Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell in Prison Break , he resides in a important role in this ganster family. He is fast , sharp , aggressive and especially that Restaurent scene was just goosebumps.. " Here is the cheese lady " wow wow..thats a stunner..you will know when you see it. He is cheesy too and when he says he will handle the cop in my way..wow..that shows his power to his words. Stunner. And that church confession scene when he says " How about an act of contrition and shoots the guy " mind blowing....!!

Hecky Nash ( Simon Pegg ) - A cameo role did perfectly well but ends up a loser. Sad but he brought the entire characters together and he started this episode in a style . When he says " This city. So damn beautiful. But only from a distance. Up close, it's all gutter" wow he meant that and you can see that in this eyes.cool.

Ned Stax ( Milo Ventimiglia ) a lawyer and fixer for Cohen, a former marine and been to war with Detective Joe Teague plays a pivotal role here and he marches in with a style with is funky look , silk tie , 50 shades suits he just dazzles off here with style. He has a close bond with Joe and that is what going to keep Cohen n co from Joe.

Billy the Boy Scout ( Neal McDounough )   - He reminds me of Seargant John O'Mara from Gangster squad and  Eliot Ness from untouchables . He leads the entire Cop team in style and that little flash back for why they call him Boy scout is damn cool .

There are few others too to add up to it but these are the most prominent faces we see here and its just two episodes over and so soon it took up its phase. This is damn Fiercy and powerful . For anything First impression is the best and it stays in mind for ever and those who see this series will never ever forget how this series started...!! A simple violin play to a Shootout was a complete stunner and from then on , this series made me feel on a hot seat and couldn't move anywhere.If you are one who likes gangsta flicks and especially in Neo-nior style then this should be in your must watch List. I cannot guarantee on how other episodes would be , but the choice picked for characterization and with a gripping script , screenplay with twists along the the core plot , i guess it will not disppoint us. If they could do this for just of episodes , i am sure they can pull this through for the entire series and i am going to follow this series without fail. Some things are need to be had Hot. Dont be late watching this...Watch it at the earliest. My hunch , this series is going to break all the records what GOT or Breaking bad had.....!! This is sure a stunner.
