1. YOU LOVE MOVIE LISTS

For those truly stricken with the movie madness, you will certainly nod to
the ideal that there is no such thing as 'too much movies'. To that, enter
the somewhat obsessive, often compulsive pastime of many addicts;
creating perfunctory lists of movies, actors, directors, quotes, goofs,
trivia,all the movies you've ever seen, all the movies you want to see,
movies by year, movies by genre, from lists sporting the highest ilk
of cinema to lists smeared with the wretched tailings of Hollywood’s
backside. And all for and end that will never come; and you love it.

2. YOU LET YOUR TRUE EMOTIONS OUT

Attempting to restrain your true feelings of a film is certainly a clear
mark of someone not a movie addict. If you feel sad, you cry even
if your girlfriend gives you that disgusted cock-eyed grimace, you
laugh even if you're the cricket in the field (of course this is certainly
due to the fact that you are oh so cultured, unlike the ambient swine
wolfing down their disaster movies and Freddy Got Fingered(s)),
you cower despite the mocking of your buffoonish friends, and so

Another clear indication that you drink in too much of the filmohol is
that you buy movies on a whim for no reason other then you could
cover it with the change you had in your pocket. And these films

6. YOU BUY INSTEAD OF DOWNLOAD

Bonafide movie addicts know the merit of a solid DVD
collection; I mean, how else will everyone know what a
freak you are? People who only download do so only to
parade around their needlessly large hard-drive.
But addicts need the tactile feeling of popping open
that case, need to see their own delirious expression in
the glare off the plastic coating and need to experience
the cool, commanding feeling of a remote control in their hand.

7. YOU ALWAYS FINISH A MOVIE YOU START;no matter how long, horrendous or boring

Nothing irks a cinema junkie more those who wont finish a
movie. To us, its like leaving during the appetizer of a 12
course meal. There are always chances for the next scene to
be better then that which preceded it and the same goes
vice versa. There are more then enough movies that
cataclysmically implode in their final act, so touting them as
masterpieces half way through is foolish. You HAVE to
brave through and while you may never be able to get rid
of the wretched aftertaste of tainted film from your
mouth, at least you can warn others about it.

8. YOUR LIFE IS A MOVIE

Even a blind deaf Amish person spouts the occasional
movie quote. It's unavoidable. Film is so engrained into
popular culture that even the deftest person can miss
that a common phrase or quip originated in the movies.
But it takes a true doped up addict to pull out the
obscurely bizarre quotes and insert them into every
day conversation...and you smirk as you think about
how it went over everyone's heads and chuckle at your
cleverness; you and all your movie loving brethren.

9. YOU HAVE A WAD OF MOVIE STUBS AS THICK AS A PHONE BOOK

Prancing home, fresh from a Friday night screening you
launch yourself down the stairs to your room. The doorframe
stresses as you launch yourself around the corner and slide
to your knees at the side of your bed and delicately slide out
'the shoebox'. Daintily, you lift the lid like it’s the Arc of the
Covenant and you gaze upon, with glossy eyes, the faded
reminders of the thousands of dollars you blew at the theatres.

10. YOU CAN STAND IN A MOVIE STORE FOR HOURS

Of all windfalls of gathering with fellow film junkies, the hammer
drops when you venture to the local video store to procure a
Friday night flick. Gazing at the kaleidoscope of colours peppering
the lofty rack before you, your eyes drift from case to case,
the memory of each flicking through your mind like a channel
changer gone haywire. *One hour later* Unfortunately
nostalgia and lack of a proper social life hinder the quest, as
despite the best efforts of all those present...you cannot pick
a damn movie. Then like a whisper at the end of a tunnel,
a voice, slowly growing louder as the wisest of the group

11. YOU’RE A MOVIE FILTER

Part of your sworn duty as an addict is to serve as the human
shield for the barrage of heinous movies that blitz society each
year. No more innocents need be harmed by the surge of
spoofs, the ravages of rom-coms and the barrage of brainless
and below-par blockbusters. In an addicts’ never ending quest
to get their next fix we are unfortunately subjected to the scum
along with the gold. And with that selfless act we both clear
the record on those movies that got a bad rap, and stop others
from taking the plunge.

12. MOVIE POSTERS ARE YOUR WALLPAPER

This next symptom has various degrees of intensity. Everyone
who has been puffing the movijuana has at some point in
their life had a movie poster. That poster might as well be
structurally integral to the wall, as it is never to be moved.
Certain instances however, see a slow accumulation of movie
posters until the room is just a glorious cave of tacky taglines
and glowering Bruce Willis'.

13. YOU HAVE AN OVERFLOW DVD RACK

Nothing puts an incredulous stare on someone’s face more
then after showing someone your movie collection to then
skirt around the corner to show them your second collection.

The great thing about movies is they can be enjoyed en masse
or sporadically, for thrills or for relaxation and with friends or my
ones lonesome. A true addict can appreciate the film as a film
and not need validation from others to feel fulfilled.

15. YOU HAVE SEEN A MOVIE AT LEAST 10 TIMES

(10 is a general rule) and everyone has that movie...the one
with the dings and scratches, the one with the cracked case, the
one that may still be lying on the table, the one that makes
your DVD player moan in annoyance when you put it
in...the one that essentially embodies everything you love about
the movies.

16. YOU NEVER BOYCOTT AN ENTIRE GENRE

Saying you don’t like an entire genre of movie is like saying
you don’t like one of your fingers just because you poked
yourself in the eye once. A bad experience should never
turn you off the whole, and this is something a true movie
addict is never guilty of. Now, this symptom does have a
certain amount of give as some people cant handle gore,
others hate being scared and others have nostalgia issues, and
while that may limit a genre...there is always that exception,
that one movie you will love, and you wont find it if you stop looking.

17. YOU LOVE MOVIE TRAILERS

Nothing gets a movie addict pumped up like a rousing trailer; r
upturing your ear drums and squeezing into your temples...it’s
like prepping the tunicate for the first inebriating injection.

18. YOU LOVE SILENT, FORIEGN AND BLACK AND WHITE FILMS JUST AS MUCH AS ANY OTHER

With the age of DVD's and the splurge of re-makes, re-inventions,
re-boots, re-imaginings...a.k.a. re-pugnant, re-volting re-pellant
and re-vulsive, people today either don’t get the chance to see
the black and white, silent and timeless classics of Hollywood-old,
or maybe they're just ignorant and have the attention span of
Dennis the Menace huffing reefer. We movie addicts both respect
the new age of cinema but always leave a slice of time for the
classics that made film what it is today. Plus Chaplain is hilarious.

when you learn to hate people who can’t distinguish between the
fact they 'hate' Battlefield Earth but just didn’t 'get' The Godfather.

Movie starts with a cool quote

"Two Possibilities exist.....
Either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally Terrifying."

A Sci-Fi thriller movie and very engaging. Till half way through the movie we would be thinking that its a horror film and relates to some haunted house. But only then we will that this is indeed a sci-fi alien movie. Though we have seen many similar movies like this such as Signs , Fourth kind but still i would say this is indeed very thriller one out of all. Definitely not bad one but it seems its a least spoken underrated movie though. Story as said is about Alien abduction and how a family fights back to save themselves one another . how they identify the signs as alien abduction and how they come through this strange situation is all about it. But movie screenplay is good and especially sound effects very stunning and chilling. Climax was a bit sloppy though but worth a watch. Any sci-fi movie lovers who loved Signs will definitely like this one.

Butterfly on a Wheel or Shattered ( 2007 )


One of Finest thrillers right from the word go..!! From start to end..its so much thrilling..movie is about a strange man who kidnaps a small kid later blackmails her parents to follow is instruction and to do as he says. The couples had to do what the kidnapper asks for whenever he calls them over phone. What does he needs and why does he chose this couple his what the surprising element of the story. And most importantly its has heavy weight cast like Gerard Butler & Pierce Bronson making this movie most interesting and keeps you at the edge of your seat till the end. This was a underrated movie which many might have missed to see it. If you are one not seen this before , i would strongly suggest you do...!! Its in likes of other movies Cellular and Phonebooth. If you liked these then sure you are in for a treat.....!! Watch it and have fun.

Campaign (2012 ) Movie....!!! Not a Bad one..Good Hilarious movie watchable once and hilarious. Dont expect a good story , just watch out for some witty jokes and short liners. Dylan McDermott Played as Tim acting was good and the tactis used to win the election campaign are funny. Technical scale this movie is below average..but if you want to watch some usual fun flick with not much expectation to story and logic..Go for it.

FAM Movie Review : Upside Down ( 2012 )

Upside Down is a rare Form of movie with a weird concept about a romantic love story on a strange astronomic world very unique from all other planets. Jim Sturgess as Adams plays a romantic lover boy character were the movie starts with him narrating the story about his planet and how different it is. The planet he is in is a Twin with two different world having their own gravitiy field around it and are just so close that they are merely separated by the dual gravity. People in one world can watch the people in other world upside down and each humans in their respective world are attached to their own planet by gravity. They cannot migrate to the opposite planet as the dual gravity is based on three simple rules .

1) All matter is pulled by the gravity of the world that it comes from, and not the other.
2) An object's weight can be offset by matter from the opposite world (inverse matter).
3) After some time in contact, matter in contact with inverse matter burns.

So the person cannot move to a other planet as they are attached to their own gravity and any material or particle from other planet is called inverse matter and if its moved from its original planet , it will get heated up and would burn as per the three laws. So the movie depends on this simple phenomena of physics which is why its a rarest script ever thought off. The two worlds though are twined and separated , one world is rich and wealthy and on the other people are poor , starving and economically down. The Rich world uses the poor world for its rich oil wealth in-exchange of Electricity for this Poor world and there is a company called TransWorld which serves as a bridge between both world managing all the transactions and exchanges. Transworld is huge massive tower constructed which unites both world and so many people from both world are employed there and that is the only place where both world meet though the contact between both world is strictly forbidden and any violation of this can even result in death penalty.

When the world itself is upside down with a very strange natural cause , a simple cute love blossoms between two teens , Adam from poor world and Eden ( kristian Dunst ) from the rich. Adam meets Eden from the other world while climbing a mountain for collecting rarest floral for his aunt . Apart from Transworld this is the only place where the two worlds are close to each other and somehow the encounter between Adam and Eden soon develops into a romantic relationship between both while they are still attached to their own gravity. Irrespective of the consequences that they are forbidden to communicate , Eden climbs down to the other world to meet Adam as she cannot resist her feelings for him and they do start meeting each other secretly ever after. Things move perfectly fine till one day when they were been tracked by police and are been chased down ,  in a event of this Eden meets up with a accident and she is pulled back to her own world by gravity resulting in injury to her head . Adam and Eden are separated for long after this incident, years pass by and they are no more in touch until that day when Adam notices Eden on a TV Show about trans-world and he gets to know that she is working on transworld and that she is alive.




Adam has a special set of skills passed on from his aunt to prepare a concoction for anti aging and using this skill he gets a job in transworld impressing the big bosses on the rich world , but his only intention is to search and find Eden. He moves on to transworld as a employee which is bound to so many rules and somehow after so many tough attempts he tracks down his love of his life but he gets to know that she don't remember anything because of her accident to head and that she cant really identify him at all. So rest of movie is how he manages to travel to the other world to meet Eden to make her remember him and his attempts to escape from police while he gets caught during his meet with Eden and how they finally manage to live together is rest of the story .

Though the climax was bit uncompromising and was rushed to a  quick end , still this movie has its own golden moments of breath-taking scenes. The script chosen is not so easy to make and bring it to celluloid form. Juan Solanas sure had his guts to take it down this challenging script and bring it live , for sure he deserves a applause . Wonderful CG Works and mind blowing cinematography. Picturization was just stunning all the way especially some scenes capturing the scenic beauty of both worlds and i just could imagine going to a planetarium for watching celestial bodies. Its sure gives you a haunting feel with goosebumps when u see the screen where a person from one world can just lift his head to see the sky , but no no in this case the other world and so the sky is not the end for them like earth. Some shots like when Adam was thrown out from one world to the ocean on other world and the meeting of Adam & Eden on the mountains which has rain upside down was so cool to watch leaving you stunned. First half screenplay stays as best but a bit led down at the end. Kristen Dunst was just cool , awesome mesmerizing and chemistry between Kristen & Jim was beautifully portrayed. Though this movie plot is about love and how he tracks her to win his love back , still the romance quotient is bit low but more felt as a sci-fi genre movie rather. This movie definitely deserves a one time watch for its stunning visualization and for a experience of watching some rarest movie with a strange script. Not a exceptional movie or neither a bad movie too , but unique of its kind.

FAM Punch Line : Upside Down -  Showtime on a planetarium. Go in with a kids heart and come out fully satisfied. A Virtual Journey sure worth a ride, at-least worth a try once.

Movie is about a world between Heaven and Hell which is occupied by Huge Man eating Giants. They are isolated from earth because of no connectivity between the two worlds . Once upon a time , these giants managed to reach earth by a huge tree grown by a magical bean which reaches to a great heights onto the skies from earth and these giants were able to climb down to earth using that tree. Eric the king who ruled that time fought bravely and managed to kill one of the giant and using its heart , he created a magical crown by which whomsoever wearing it can control these giants . So Eric managed to send them back to their world and he had the tree cut down so they dont come back. Many years pass by and king is now just a legend , a chapter in story books which  talks about the magical crown and those magical beans.Now moving to the present age showing Nicholas Hoult as Jack a simple poor farm boy and Isabelle ( Princess , daughter of current king ) who is also a bloodline of Eric King the great. Somehow those beans alomg with the crown are stolen from erics Coffin and important thing is if those beans get wet , they can grow large which can result in giants using it to come down causing a series threat to mankind. One of the beans accidentally get wet in a rain resulting in unimaginable tree growing huge tearing up the clouds so high. In this incident princess Isabelle also been taken high up along with jack house when the tree grew. How Jack along with other Kings Soldiers climb the tree to reach the other side of the world to save princess , how jack saves princess inturn princess falling in love for him and how the crown is used to bring back peace & safety to the man kind is rest of the story to be tired on the big screen.

Some camera shots from top angle eagle view are must watch in a Imax 3D Screen as it is breathtaking . Movie screenplay is good but the story is very predictable and it doesn't surprise you much on what the next scene would be. Its not a thriller movie , though has giants involved but sure it would be fun for any children's watching it for they would feel like watching their Night time stories and fairy tales in a big screen. Climax scenes when giants climb down was good for sometime. But nothing more to expect out of it. It is not worth for a 3D Movie and there are not much scenes worth made for a 3D Viewing except few. BGM was normal and the characters were not that catchy that includes Nicholas Hoult as jack who is not that perfect match for the role but still tried his best and all others did their part as normal it can be, no goosebumps anywhere throughout the movie. Its just a clear fun filled movie with no logic's and just meant for enjoyment only. Watchable once for its fresh feel but nothing more for a matured movie watchers. Pure Children's entertainment and sure they would love it most especially in a Imax screen 3D if possible.

FAM Movie Club : Jack the giant slayer should have been slayed here and there to cut shot the run hours but said it is a pure fun entertainment for viewers who just need some refreshing time watching a movie with not much of anything. It deserves one time watch not more than that if you are not below 12 age. Have fun watching***once ( Conditions apply ) :p

FAM Movie Review : The Lucky One ( 2012 )

Scott Hicks director is really a lucky one to choose this script , One of finest best selling romantic novel of  Nicholas Sparks with same name which is well scripted down again by Will Fetters. Just like any other movies evolved from NC , this movie is no less a fun watching it as its pure joy watching every frame of it giving a beautiful feel all through. Movie is about U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault  ( Zac ) who is deported in Iraq war where at one mission he just escapes from a missile attack which almost killed him while he survives and killing almost all his crew. The fact that saved him was a  mysterious photo of a beautiful American woman in a no-mans land which while he tried to pick it up , he escapes from a missile attack just few feet forward in fraction of seconds . From then on there were few couple of incidents where he just got escaped from the clutches of death while carrying that girl picture on his pocket as a talisman . So he started to feel her as a lucky charm and starts trying to en-quire about her to all his colleagues to thank her but in vain. Its 8 months past and after 3 consecutive tour assignments  he decides to return home in Colorado where his sister family is living.

While seeing her face in the picture  , he just realizes a landmark in the background of her picture which is a lighthouse and with some home work he finds that the place belong to Louisiana. Though he is back home , he is still traumatized marine veteran trying to overcome his demons and he is not able to feel himself normal as all he can hear is gun shots , blood and war. Thinking that this not gonna help him in any way , he decides to travel in search of that unknown women by walk all the way from Colorado to Louisiana which is 500 miles far. Somehow he manages to track her down , finds detail from a localite in a bar that she’s Beth (Taylor Schilling), a young woman whose brother was killed in action a veteran, currently running a Dog kennels  living with her wise mother and a cute blond son Ben . She is a divorcee separated from Keith under mutual consent , where Keith father is a influential and a rich person in that region. He finally reaches her place finds her there ,  just at her first glimpse he is just mesmerized , loses his consciousness and finds no words to explain her why he came there & his actual reason for his visit. She thinking that he is for the job opening in kennel for a person in-charge asks him to fill a form but when she comes to know about him that he walked all the way from Colorado to Louisiana , she is little concerned on his identify though he is a marine she is reluctant and not fully ready to employ him. Irrespective of  her own doubts to be answered , her mother appoints him and gives him a chance.





Logan hiding his true intentions , just starts to take care of the kennel well which impresses all with his attitude and a pleasant behavior. Even her son Ben gets close to Logan and starts to like him much . Slowly as days goes on  , even Beth slowly falls for him with his charming looks and care which inturn raises tensions between her jealous ex-husband Keith who is also a Local Cop. Keith starts to interfere giving unnecessary trouble to Beth & Logan. Beth knew that if Keith wanted , he can take his son back to him as his father is a influential person , so for this one reason Beth always try to behave well with Keith and irrespective of trouble he causes , she manages to digest all of them. Days go along and each day Logan is just filling up her heart and at one point of time she just cant resist express her feelings for him and they start to date each other and Beth's mom is happy to see her daughter life is back on track & that she is really happy after so many days. But though she is happy with Logan , she is still haunted by his cute brothers absence who is still missing from war in Iraq. Beth is worried because her brother is still not declared dead and she is not able to live like this waiting for his brother without any surety. While Keith her ex husband playing a negative role tells Beth that Logan didn't come from Colorado for a job but rather to find her and he also tells that Logan inquired about her with a picture in local bar. Keith also had stolen that pic from Logan's place and gives it to Beth as a proof. When she started to check with Logan about the picture , he starts to tell everything about why he came to her place and why n for what he is here. Beth said that the picture was always carried by her brother and that the picture in Logan hand means Ben's brother is dead , while Logan also confirms that he has seen her brother last while saving a other injured man and he consoles her saying he didn't die for nothing and he did took his last breath while trying to safe injured men from his crew. Though Beth got her answers , she is not able to take everything at once , heart broken that Logan has hidden this from her, she starts to avoid him. Things goes bad upside down in a single night but this distance makes them more closer as they start to feel each-other and they start to realize what they are really missing. Will Beth accept Logan again , How will Keith behave if she does , will he take his son back and will he give trouble to Logan\beth relationship is rest of the story which the climax can answer you.

Though the story is very common one with a cliche feel at times and a predictable finish , this movie definitely has its moments. With some signature shots of country side filled with scenic background view , picturization for sure is beautifully done and well made which will make you feel through the movie. Unlike other Nicholas sparks novel , this one sure has a happy ending or to say a satisfying ending giving the audience a much satisfied feel of watching it. Zac as logan is definitely a charming person perfectly fit to the movie as a calm looking well built marine with natural romantic expression, Taylor as Beth on the other hand too is tall , gorgeous and beautiful making them a perfect pair in the movie and for more obvious reasons they did share a perfect chemistry together.

FAM Punch Line :  Overall The Lucky One is sure worth to be stacked in your romantic movie collections and will definitely impress you if you like movies of this genre. Though it doesn't fit the bill for a repeated view , well  it deserves a must watch once as Nicholas sparks hands behind its creation and for sure when it comes to romance genre he stays as a immortal unbeatable king for ever.

Hats off to Neeraj for pulling out such a wonderful Heist Movie in recent times.The film is based on the real-life daring heist dated 19-Mar-1987. I don't want to go more in-dept on the story as it newly released but like to give a synopsis of it and moreover any one clue will spoil the entire suspense element on this movie. . Well its about a fake CBI Team of four which includes Akshay kumar and Anupam kher conducting many fake income-tax raids of around fifty raids all around the country and stealing their black money for which the victims cant go to either media or law for help as it involves robbery of only black money. Its just a cat and mouse game of how GOW Fame Manoj Bajpayee a sincere real cbi officer chases down to solve these case and how anupam kheer and askhay kumar beautifully implement their plans is the story.

The Climax was astonishing and wow a worth watching movie tense watching it every minute. A Beautiful scripted movie. In the end during Opera house gold robbery when Manoj says that we were not making them play the game but in fact we were part of their game was just awesome. A Movie which will keep you on your toes and sure you will not move from your seat a minute till the finishing touch as the suspense thrill was beautifully maintained. Screenplay was mind-blowing and no lags or delays or songs at unwanted places. Even the romantic part between akshay and kajol agarwal was not dragged much as the directed wanted to make sure the continuity , phase of the movie was kept at a perfect speed. Akshay kumar and Anupam kher acting was just mind blowing with the cameo role from Jimmy Shergill will sure give you the goosebumps at the climax. Your Heart would beat high at many places with so many chilling scenes. Those fake raids are just awesome to watch and the initial raid at a minister house is just beautifully done. Never to miss Mention Manoj Bajpayee who gives that extra punch to the role as a strict CBI Officer and he perfectly fits well to the role.Climax twist was the best of the movie. Cool. Yes the end , director leaves a clue on its possible sequel and lets see if he comes up with it...!!!

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters...!! Nothing fascinating or something new..!! As name suggests , story is just about witch hunters who casted like a professional witch killers...!! I felt Van Helsing is far better in this genre. We can only watch it as some normal movie watching with no expectation and for the fairy fair girl Gretel ( Gemma Arterton ) . Average One and you can choose to watch if you have nothing else to watch and that you like fairy tales a lot..!!

Notebook , a Sensational Romantic Drama made based on the Novel of same Name by the great Writer Nicholas Sparks known for his excellence in Romantic and powerful Heart Touching  Scripts. This Movie is no less good then his previous works . This Movie starts with a Old man Duke ( James Garner ) narrating a story from some diary to a Old Women ( Gena Rowlands ) in a hospital who is suffering from Dementia a condition noticed by Loss of brain functions like thinking , sense , memory . The Story Duke reads to old women, takes us back to 1940's Sea-brook Island Carolina narrating a beautiful love story between a Poor Local Young Chap Noah ( Ryan Gosling ) with a beautiful young girl Allie ( Racheal McAdams ) who is born with silver spoon raised on a wealthy family. Allie comes to this beautiful greenish land from city with her family for a summer vacation . There she comes across Noah on a local village carnival and straightway Noah get attracted towards Allie on his first meet and asks her for a date in a extraordinary way on a giant roller coaster wheel. Noah does many things which she starts admiring him and finally Noah wins and they are in love alas. Things go on as normal as any other love story until when Allie parents gets to know about their relation but they don't accept as Noah is a poor local country boy which they feel will not be suitable for their rich family. Though Allie Confronts her parents , Noah & Allie breakup because of some simple argument which later her parents take it as a advantage ends their summer camp , vacates the island. Though Allie tries to reach Noah before leaving the village she couldn't see him as he is left to nearby village for some work and they get separated without any lost words. Noah is broken on his return when he found that the huge house she was in for summer camp is vacant and she left him without any message. Days pass and Noah writes letters to Allie for 365 days for every single day of the year but unfortunately the letters did not get delivered as Allie's mother receives all those letters and she hides them all from the eyes of Allie.

Days Pass and a year is gone , where Noah lost his hope that she would return any one of his letters and moves on. He sends a farewell letter on 365 day which also did not reach Allie. At same time , Allie completes her nursing course in city comes across a Young handsome soldier "Lon" and falls in love with him. Things happen and she is engaged to Lon. Noah joins military during a immediate army enrollment .   After few years of service in military Noah returns back to his town and with his little savings and selling his dads house , he buys the 200 year old building where he met Allie. The Building is totally a mess and Noah decides to restore it to the same old look thinking that it can bring Allie back to him . Everything goes smooth until one day when Noah travels to nearby city for the building construction approval meets Allie on a restaurant  kissing Lon. Seeing this recent affair , Noah is shattered , broken and his life went total upside down in a single moment. As per Allie , she thought Noah never tried to reach her thinking he moved on with his life , so she too didn't hesitate a single moment and fell in love with Lon. Lon is also soldier but has a wealthy background which helped Allie Parents to approve their relationship and their engagement. Everything was normal until once day when Allie finds Noah pic with the old building on a local news paper ad. She was surprised but did want to make one final visit to the village to meet Noah. She did reach the village and seeing the beautiful building reminds her of those precious days when she was young and all her memories about first crush engulfs her. Noah is shocked to she her finally and his heart beats fast. She stays there for dinner and they talk , share a lot. Allie also comes to know about the letters he wrote for Allie every single day for 365 days and she just breaks in tears to find the love he had on her. They make love that night irrespective of the fact that she is engaged. Will she be with her first love Noah or would she betray Lon ..!! Its a battle of hearts and she is shattered , confused to choose what she exactly wants. Will she Leave Noah for Lon or does she have strength to explain Lon  to get her first love is the rest part of the story. At the end we just come to know that the Old man is none other then Noah n duke was his alias name and he is actually reading his own story to the old women who is infact Allie from a notebook written by her , She lost all her memory due to Dementia and she doesn't recognize herself or Noah now. At The front page of the notebook she clearly leaves a note to Noah to make sure he reads the entire story to her if at all she forgets her memory and so he does. She did get her memory back for few min at the end of the story and it doesn't stay long for more then a minute where she falls back to the same old condition. Noah once again heart broken due to Allie condition, Feeling helpless has a heart attack and he is admitted to same hospital with Allie who is also in a critical condition . Noah meets Allie in the hospital in a non visiting hours escaping the eyes of hospital staff. He finds out that Allie had regained her memory and He promises Allie that no matter what , even if she loses her complete memory  he will never leave her alone and they both hug each other and sleep in the same bed. Next day morning , Nurse finds the two old beautiful lovely couple passed away with still their hands held together as if showing the audience that Noah making sure he will never let her go no matter what and follow her wherever she goes. Movie ends here with a beautiful note and the Last page of the Notebook is definitely filled with lot of tears.



Director Nick was really wonderful in capturing hearts of audience by bringing this Book version to big screen in a wonderful way. The Dialogues at many places are heart wrenching and would melt you at some scenes. Ryan Gosling was perfect tailor fit for the role and he did very well to the Noah character along with the young gorgeous beautiful women Allie done my Rachel. Am sure many book readers would have gone mad and happy seeing their two fav characters coming alive . Cinematography was top notch and beautifully shot like Rain scene , The building in the garden were just beautiful . The way he proposes her on the giant wheel , Road Signal light scene , Clip when her mom returns all 365 letters to Allie , Lon explaining three choices to Allie when he comes to know about Noah , The Boat & rain scene and the climax scene  in hospital are so mesmerizing ,  which for sure will remain in your mind and haunt you for ever.  That's a masterclass work from Nick and sure he did a splendid job giving life to this wonderful Novel. Its a pure brilliance and wonderful watching it every minute.

FAM Punch Line : A Top Notch Film with Perfect Blending of Love and Emotion into one single beautiful movie giving the audience the extreme pleasure while watching throughout its run-time. Nicholas Sparks works can never disappoint the audience and sure will be a virtual treat for the novel readers . viewers liking this kind of Romantic Genre Movies. This will be one of Must watch romantic Movie of all time and sure will give you a unique experience watching it.. Don't Miss it . The Vow is based on true incident  happened to Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who wrote a book about their marriage, also known as The Vow. This movie revolves around two important characters, husband Leo (Channing Tatum) and his wife Paige Collins (Rachel McAdams) . The Movie kick-starts with a tragedy , a car accident  while returning from a theater where these two cute couple get admitted to a hospital. Leo owns a Music studio and Paige is a Art student in nearby college . Post accident , Leo is recovered in couple of days but Paige sustained head injury and she is been kept in a induced coma in-order to prevent severe pain during healing process . Though leo is broken to see his wife in this state watches her day and night for her recovery. Finally after so many days she is back normal but with a shocking news that she lost all her memory and she no more remembers leo or her marriage with Him. Leo is shattered to know this but accepts his fate. Before the accident , she was happily married with leo , she has left her house , her parents moved  to city to live with leo and to continue her art class where in her father wanted her to study law. Leo was a very caring husband and they both shared a very good chemistry each other. Now that this accident caused a severe memory loss and that she doesn't remember anything with Leo , her parents come by to take her back home. For now Leo is just a stranger for her and in this awkward situation he begs to his own wife to give him a chance to prove and to live with him in a attempt to understand their relationship and to try gain memory.

Finally Paige moves in with Leo to his apartment but now they no more feel as husband and wife but as some stranger and Leo is totally heart broken but still determined to win her back and to make her understand his love 'n'  life they lived together. Paige tries to get along with her life by seeing her marriage video , pictures but still nothing helps her to gain the lost memory . As per her , last what she could remember is a life with her parents and her engagement with Jeremy. Leo tried different ways but everything in vain and he is just broken but cannot let her go. In meantime Paige is back with her life consisting of her parents and she least bothered about leo , same time she also falls for Jeremy because as per her last memory she is engaged to him , but in actual she broke that engagement then came to city lived a life there and married leo, but unfortunate she don't remember that but tries to find or make a reason why she left Jeremy. Sad leo just cant see his wife falling for Jeremy because of her lost memory and he desperately tries all the methods he could to get her back in his life. At some point he asks his own wife for a date to make her love him all over again , because he lost his belief that she will ever regain her memory. Same-time her parents want leo to leave her so she can lead a new life which initially he refuses later he signs up the divorce paper for only reason to see her happy and that she cant live with him like that . Paige also seems his struggle to get her back but she couldn't love the same way she did before the accident and she feels helpless and at one point she says to Leo that she cannot see him hurt trying & leo walks away saying " How do you look at the woman you love, and tell yourself that its time to walk away?  " . Will he win her back in his life , Will she accept leo over Jeremy , will they marry again will be the remaining part of it........!!!

Michael Sucsy has chosen a perfect story to bring it to a big screen and sure he brought it in a perfect style convincing the actual couples from which the story is inspired from . The full show is of Channing Tatum ( Leo ) with his awesome performance and seamless acting. He just brings the emotions beautifully out making the audience melt away. Its amazing how Leo and Paige share their life and its beautiful to see the chemistry between them . You will feel touched by the struggle and try what leo does and the pain what he goes through. Its a pure joy watching this film and it goes on like a breeze , hats off to the screenplay by Abby Kohn. No wonder why this is 6th highest grossing romantic film of all time. Its a beautiful movie with so many emotions , feelings and sure it would touch your heart deep . Its all in all Leo the savior of the movie and i am sure none could have justified this role apart from Tatum with his cool looks , causal effortless acting , simple but powerful expression. The scene post signing divorce paper where he cries playing a guitar and telling to his friend Lily that Paige is not loving him anymore with tears all over his eyes would just squeeze your heart. There are so many scenes which would blow your mind haunt you for long time , but i feel  its better to experience it with the virtual then reading it in my words. Am sure watching this movie would be one hell of a unique experience which none would want to miss.

FAM Punch Line : If you haven't watched this movie before and that you are a fan of romantic movies like Nicolas sparks then this is it , would be a highly recommended movie for you. Don't miss it . FAM Movie Review : Vishwaroopam ( 2013 ) Tamil

Vishwaroopam , one of biggest controversial movie of recent times handcrafted from a legend actor and a film maker. Amidst these recent situation and crisis this movie had to go through for releasing in its home ground , it finally came out with a big bang flying colors and to say for sure this was one of Humungous opening ever happened for any film be it here or overseas. No wonder why it had highest trending in twitter and shares\likes in Facebook , it is just all over the internet for it didn't needed any additional advertisement or publicity. Sure makes Kamal a happy producer

Movie is just normal as we seen in so many other flicks where Kamal ( vishu ) is a Undercover Spy agent. He is currently in US disguised as a Katak Dancer married to Nirupama ( Pooja Kumar ) who holds a doctorate in Radioactive oncology. Kamal used to teach dance to many young girls where Ashimita ( Andrea ) also one of his student. Pooja is not much interested in married life because of his odd behavior and body language as being a dancer. So she appoints a Detective to follow Kamal to find some fault so she can apply for divorce with that proof and to continue her PHD Later followed by marrying her boss in the same company she works for. But things take a turn when the detective happens to find that Vishu(kamal) is not a hindu but a Muslim when he goes to a local mosque to perform his prayers. While on pursue , detective gets caught in hands of terrorist group and in doubt he gets killed by that gang in a misunderstanding that the detective is actually following their activities. On Further search on his dead body they get visiting card of Mrs.Vishu Pooja Kumar and they kidnap her too along with kamal. Here starts the actual one..

The Acting of the great legend kamal was mind blowing and how he acts so innocent on the following scenes with the kidnappers is just awesome. And how he transforms himself as a undercover spy agent when Rahul Bose ( Omar ) who is the leader of that terrorist gang identify him as a agent is damn awesome. The fight sequence was brilliantly shot and just a virtual treat to watch. Addition to it is the BGM and Song " Yaar endru therigindradha , ivan thee yena purigindradha " will sure give goosebumps to any type of audience watching including his wife in the movie Dr.Nurupama. He finally manages to escape from the cluthes of the terrorist group making his wife stunned with his new roopam which is so why the movie named Vishwaroopam. She also gets to know that he is not just working alone and that her uncle Shekar Kapur , Andrea also part of the team . A specific dialogue when Rahul bose seeing the dead bodies of his group in a pool of blood killed by kamal , says to his leutinent " What else you can expect as he is trained trained by Al Quieda " will give you that much needed Kick for kamal fans keeping their toes high for lot of surprises to come.

Later part takes us through the flashback on how kamal gets into the terrorist group and how he rise to a high position , power as a jihadi and becomes a trusted , loyal member to Omar. Whats is is actual mission and how he saves newyork from a biggest nuclear attack forms the rest of the movie which i guess will not be a fun to reveal it here and should be experienced only in theaters.

What to Look for :
Stunning camera work , especially scenes in Afghan which was meticulously shot and the bunkers which are used as hideouts for terrorists was beautifully shown with some wide angle shots at times. Screenplay was just awesome with fiery first half and bit detailed second half may make you feel slow but rather its not. BGM is a heart of any movie and this movie somehow happen to grab the right kind of BGM it needed and it was perfectly blending to the movie pure class. While watching the movie , you may tend to raise many questions on how , why or what , but for it you may have to wait till the bloopers is shown and dont miss it as it can help you to address few or most of your questions . What-else you can expect from Ulaganayagan Kamal for his performance was top notch right from the start being a katak dancer to transformation as a undercover agent is just stunning.Not to miss mention about Rahul bose as Omar for he justified his role performing his task crystal clear with a job well done giving a pure joy to audience. Life in Afghan on a desert sand was beautifully shown to viewers and though this movie is about anti-terrorism still kamal tried to show their pain on their day to day life shows how human he is and a down to earth person he can be . For sure he didn't hurt any sentiments of any religion rather he portrayed himself as a Muslim , a hero and a tough undercover agent fighting for his country & to save many innocent life's from hands of terrorists and i guess every Muslim brothers should be feeling proud watching this movie. Its not Easily to bring a Hollywood feel , its quality on a Indian movie but he has succeeded in doing it brilliantly as every fan of kamal know that he is not afraid to try anything new to bring the Indian movies to a international stage. This is no less a Hollywood movie and am sure as a generic audience you will enjoy it for sure.

Whats a down factor :
Bit Draggy second half. Some graphics didnot work well like Kamal while training in jihadi camp climbing ropes , jumping walls but its clear evident its done by a dupe which could have been worked out a little better. Some unanswered qustions making audience to wait till bloopers or for next Sequal Vishwaroopam 2 is quite disappointing. Some dramatic sequences in climax and microwave scene was bit unconvincing still goes well with movies though. Climax was finished in a simple way with just disarming a nuclear weapon but as a fan we all might have expected some heroic stunt from kamal or some scenes which could have delivered that complete satisfaction of watching a movie. Though it leads to next sequel climax could have been made bit dashing with packing a punch delivering goosebumps but for sure was missing. The Fun of watching a spy agent in action was not actually there or less and for sure its a minus factor for the movie. Yes every movie has its negative factor , but in this masterpiece it is very very ignorable proportion or rather fans or viewers wont worry much about the above said points as we all go for movie just for entertainment and if it is..then Vishwaroopam has delivered it very well and it is a 100% pure entertainer. Down factor is not a impacting factor at all.

Overall : Be it you are surrounded by many thoughts due to recent controversy or be it you are a fan of kamal sir or of any actor this movie should stay in your must watch list. For the risk he has taken to present this movie to audience in such a quality and craftsmanship , it should be recognized and it will happen only if you appreciate his work watching in theaters. Dont miss this movie and just enjoy the show. Go in with no expectations and come-out fully satisfied. Keep your critic shoes out before stepping in and sure you will enjoy every moment of it. Am sure kamal as a producer would be happy on how its running across the theaters in globe and especially in TN his home playground , sure he is going to hit a double century here.

Cinematography – Rajiv Menon – He is a massive plus for this film.lovely cinematography especially at songs and climax fight scene ..!!

Music - composed by A. R. Rahman already some songs are superb hit and they didn’t disappoint us in visual too .The background score is ok in some scenes but overall it was not a complete ARR Fare and might be a slight let down for ARR Fans

Story :-

Being a New Film , i will just give you all a slight overview on it with a little insights.The story revolves around two main characters , none other than ARJUN and ARVIND SWAMY, Goutham the hero did his part well as a beginner, Thulasi character is a cute & childish girl but good at romance in songs :P Then ponvannan did a gud supporting play.

The film is about a christian community fishermen area along the seashore side of south Tamilnadu(thuthukudi) . Kind of Negative Role by ARJUN and Godfather ARVIND SAMY as protagonist. its about how the hero gautham karthick struggling to choose between the two phases of life good and the bad and how he get tangled himself in love with thulasi , whether his love life helped him realize to take a right decision is what takes us to the end of the film ..!

Pros : Arvind samy superb comeback , mind-blowing performance , each & every scene , the dialog delivery is woww just cool , calm but powerful ..!!! Arjun as we all know the action king played -ve role gives 100% justice to his character. He perfectly filled his part and played it to perfection.Gautham and thulasi - good for the beginners lets see them what they do in the future films but not as good for considering a mani sir film ..Amazing locations and picturization was top notch showing us the scenic beauty of ceylon with complete blue waters in mid of sea and shore makes us feel chill n mesmerized. Climax fight was superb between arjun , arvind , gautham in mid of sea on a boat superb CG work too ..!!

Cons : Lack of story and editing is worse in many places definitely not what you expect from a mani sir's product. At some point you will be shocked to realize whether its really directed by the great legend Mani Rathnam. We can see his struggle to get back to his form and this is shocking for a Mani sir fan like me. Ravanan Bad luck and bad form continues.

Mani sir fails in his storytelling, Characters are not that much convincing or to say better not properly used, a confused climax for sure will leave you blind difficult to take it or understand it. Simple Story -> Local Club house card game  -> Robbery -> 2 Guys and one master mind -> Money lost and economy collapse -> Clubhouse Hire a Professional contract killer Brad Pitt ( as Jackie )  ->  Brad Pitt Killing them One by One.

Simple as that..but was dragged for nothing...Very boring and it has nothing in it...!! No Goosebumps nothing..only feeling sleepy all the way. .James Gandolfini  ( as Mickey  ) comes in as a another Hitman assisting brad Pitt but was not scripted properly with  unusual dialogues , unnecessary scenes , useless discussions and talking making the movie drag more. Ray Liotta ( as Markie Trattman  ) comes in as a manager for the club house and we might expect a huge action from him but he just goes for nothing . Problem is there is no proper villan in this movie , unfortunately the negative role Brad pitt has to play the role of protagonist and its was showed like that.  Very normal story but with a powerful cast. If the screenplay and editing had done their job this movie could have been more entertaining. BGM is worst and Brad pitt intro was nothing. Its a Total let off for Brad Pitt fans and for sure was not used properly in this movie . Most of times felt like a documentary film. Worst overall . Not Worth it.
